Parshuram Temple also known as Pali Gufa wala Mandir is a famous temple located in Pali district of Rajasthan state. This famous temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva or Mahadev. Parshuram Temple is an ancient cave where you have to climb 500 steps to reach it so, this is also known as gufa Wala Mandir. The temple also offers a spectacular view from the top of the Aravalli Hills

History of this Temple

The history of Pali Gufa wala Mandir, it is believed that Saint Parshuram, who is said to be the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, made a cave with his axe and worshiped Lord Shiva at the foothills of Aravali mountain. For this reason, a temple dedicated to Parshuram was built here on top of the hill, which we know as Parshuram Mahadev Temple. The Shivling installed in the temple is considered to be self-manifested. It is also believed that only the person who has seen Parshuram Mahadev can open the doors of Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand.

Pali Gufa wala Mandir opens at 6:00 AM in the morning and close at 7:00 PM in the evening. Morning aarti is performed at 7:30 AM in the morning and evening aarti is performed at 6:30 PM in the evening.
