Gopal Mandir located in the central part of Jhabua city has made its own identity in the entire district. Although there are hundreds of temples in the city, but Gopal Mandir probably attracts the people here and the people living elsewhere because of its separate existence and ancient memories. Maa Gopal is enshrined here along with her entire family. Here various festivals like Ram Navami, Krishna Janmashtami, Ganesh Chathurti etc. are also celebrated in a grand manner.

History of this Temple

Jhabua Gopal Mandir was built about 40 years ago, then this place was completely vacant and after the construction of the temple, a colony was built here, which was named as Gopal Colony. The temple has recently completed 40 years of its construction and now in the month of May, a grand event was organized in the temple as an annual festival, in which thousands of devotees from different places registered their presence and made the program successful.

Gopal Mandir is situated in the center of Jhabua city. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, these Grand events are also organized at other places. Various institutions are also run under the supervision of the working committee in Gopal Mandir located in Jhabua, in which Shri Gopal Reading Room, Shri Gopal Shishu Vidya Mandir etc. There is a total collection of 20000 thousand books like religious, cultural, literary in the reading room.
