There is a divide between the British and the Broadcasting Corporation of BBC

The BBC has released a 90-minute documentary, "The Shamima Begum Story."

Unbiased reporting adds significant value to society. However, when reporting becomes agenda-driven, it has negative consequences for them. BBC is perceived by many as one of the flag bearer of the truth around the world. But its reality is being revealed day by day. In order to broadcast its propaganda it is deviating from its initials.

“The Shamima Begum Story,” a 90-minute documentary, has been released by the BBC. The documentary follows the 10-part podcast “I Am Not a Monster,” which narrates the journey of Begum. Shamima Begum, who joined ISIS, is portrayed sympathetically in the documentary.

Back in 2015, Shamima Begum, a resident of the United Kingdom, decided to join ISIS. But, after being abused and having her fantasy about Syria and ISIS shattered, she intended to return home. However, because her citizenship was revoked on national security grounds, she is not eligible to become a citizen again. The case is still being heard in court.

The documentary has instilled remorse and anger in the people of the UK for portraying her as the victim. As a result, people are threatening to cancel their subscriptions with the BBC. This resentment spread to Twitter, with one viewer asking, “What is happening with the BBC?” Are you kidding me? I won’t ever pay my TV licence again… “She’s a terrorist with no remorse; she doesn’t deserve to have her story heard like she is a victim.”

This setback for the BBC comes just days after it faced backlash in India for airing a propaganda documentary about Prime Minister Modi. People in India are criticising the BBC and demanding a complete ban on the platform.

British deviates from Broadcasting Corporation

The important point here is that both the documentary clearly violate the court proceedings. This cannot be a coincidence, as these documentaries are being released at a time when the BBC is allegedly experiencing malfunction in fundings. Its stance on wokism, criticism of Harry and Meghan, and the infamous Diana interview are among the other issues that face the headwinds in the United Kingdom.

The bias displayed by the BBC in its coverage, with its hostile attitude towards India and support of radical Islamists, indicates a departure from impartial journalism. Indulging in brainwashing journalism, it is distracting the “Broadcast Corporation” from the “British,” and sooner or later it will ultimately lead to its demise in the near future.
