Shri Sidhbali Baba Mandir Kotdwar is a famous temple of Hanuman Ji Maharaj situated at Kotdwar of Pauri Garhwal on the banks of river Khoh in Uttarakhand. Shri Siddhabali Temple is located at a distance of about 37 kilometers from Lansdowne Hill Station.

Sidhbali Baba Mandir Kotdwar in Garhwal, Uttarakhand A colossal idol of Lord Hanuman adorns a rock with an extraordinary view of the Himalayas. There are two natural Pindis located inside the temple, one of which is headed by Hanuman Ji Maharaj. Devotees reach the temple after traveling over 150 steps to the temple to have darshan of Hanuman Ji Maharaj.

History of this Temple

At this place a Siddha Purush had achieved the accomplishment of Hanuman Ji Maharaj after doing penance. It is believed that that Siddha Purush had installed a huge idol of Hanuman Ji Maharaj and hence the place was named Siddhabali. After this, during the British rule, when a Muslim officer traveling on his horse passed by Siddhabali, he suddenly fell down from the horse and became unconscious. When he regained consciousness, he told that a temple of Hanuman ji Maharaj should be built on Siddhabali’s tomb and he told the villagers about his dream.

Sidhbali Mandir Garhwal Timings

The Sidhbali Mandir Garhwal remains open from 5 am to 2 pm for devotees to visit and offer prayers. After this, an interval of one hour, then temple remains open for the devotees from 3 pm to 8 pm.
