Congress wishes death upon PM Modi: Congress was established by a retired British ICS officer with an objective to puncture the ongoing Indian freedom struggle against the British imperialists with the help of some “moderate” English educated Indians. It was under the Congress rule that India saw bloodbath in Punjab. And now, when Khalistan seems to be returning with full swing, the Congress party is busy digging the grave of PM Modi thus continuing its age-old tradition of not speaking for the nation.
Khalistan resurrecting in India
Last week, hundreds of followers of Amritpal Singh, a pro-Khalistan leader, got into a violent clash with police outside Ajnala police station near Amritsar. They demanded the release of one of their colleagues who had been taken into custody in a kidnapping case.
Amritpal Singh, often dubbed as ‘Bhindrawale 2.0’, has put forth the demand for Khalistan. He has issued a threat for Union Home Minister Amit Shah saying that would meet the same fate as Indira Gandhi if he tries to halt the movement. This came after Shah said that he won’t let the Khalistan movement rise.
Congress’ deafening silence on the issue
While Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann has cited funding from foreign countries as the reason behind resurrection of Khalistan, Congress, which with no electoral merit often cites itself as the main opposition of the country, has maintained a deafening silence on the issue.
Instead of building pressure upon the state government to act, as it is the main opposition party, the Congress is busy wishing death upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Congress wishes death upon PM Modi
The hatred that the Congress party holds against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was once again exposed following the arrest of Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera.
After Khera was deplaned from a Raipur bound flight over an FIR by the Assam Police, the Congress leaders along with workers sat down at the tarmac to protest against the same. But, during the protest, slogans like, ‘Modi teri kabar khudegi, kabar khudegi, kabar khudegi’ were being chanted by Congress leaders in the presence of Khera as well as other leaders like Supriya Srinate.
Well, this is not the first time that Congress has wished death upon PM Modi. Earlier, in 2022 Congress leader Subodhkant Sahay said that “Modi Hitler ki raah chalega, toh Hitler ki Maut marega.” Slogans like these have also been heard in several protests.
Prime Minister Modi has himself time and again responded to such sayings. During his Kashi Vishwanath visit, PM was quoted saying, “I don’t believe in criticising anyone, but when someone starts wishing for my death publicly, I feel how low people in Indian politics have stooped.”
The PM has also responded to Congress’ recent remarks saying that the Congress may say ‘Modi teri kabar khudegi,’ but the whole of India is saying, ‘Modi tera kamal khilega’.
