Salasar Balaji Mandir is located in Churu district of Rajasthan. Salasar Balaji is the holy abode of Hanuman, the son of Pawan Deva. To say that there are many temples of Hanumanji in the country of India, but this temple of Hanumanji has a lot of recognition among his devotees. As miraculous as the story of Balaji’s appearance here, in an equally miraculous way Hanuman, the son of wind, fulfills all the wishes of his devotees in the form of Balaji.

History of this Temple

When the idol of Hanumanji was installed in Salasar Balaji temple. In the history of Salasar Balaji Mandir Rajasthan, Lord Hanuman had miraculously appeared here. The incident dates back to 1754 when a Jat farmer was plowing his field in Asota village in Nagpur district. Then his plow collided with some sharp rocky object.

When he dug, he saw that there was a stone here. When he cleaned the stone with his thumb, he saw that the image of Lord Balaji was made on the stone. At the same time Jat’s wife brought food, she also cleaned the idol with her sari and both the couple bowed down to the stone.

Salasar Balaji Mandir Rajasthan Timings

Salasar Balaji Mandir Rajasthan is opened for devotees at 4 am. Here Mangal Aarti is performed by the priests at 5 am.

Rajbhog Aarti takes place at 10:3 am this aarti is performed only on Tuesdays.

So if you want to attend this aarti then come here on Tuesday. Dhoop and Mehandas ji’s aarti are held at 6 in the evening.

This is followed by Balaji’s Aarti at 7:30 and Bal Bhog Aarti at 8:15. Here you can visit till 10 pm. The doors of the temple are closed after Shayan Aarti at 10 o’clock.

By Train- The nearest airport from this temple is Salasar which is at a distance of 26 km away from this temple. From here you can easily reach this temple by using local transport services or taxi.

By Road- Roads to Salasar Balaji Mandir of Rajasthan are well connected with the other cities of the country so you can easily reach this temple by using your own vehicle or by any public buses or taxi from any part of the country.
