ISKCON temple Jaipur – Guide
ISKCON Shri Giridhari Dauji Temple is located in Dholai village, south of Jaipur city. It is one of the famous and most visited temples in Jaipur. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and it is run by the ISKCON society and is engaged in spreading Krishna consciousness. The main idols of Lord Krishna and Lord Balarama are three feet high. The idols are very beautifully decorated and depict the loving bond shared between them.
The main temple is dedicated to Radha Krishna. ISKCON temple of Jaipur is known for its beautiful idols. Radha Krishna’s makeup with silver and gold jewellery and colourful clothes makes it more attractive. It is an impressive temple with lush green gardens in abundance. A restaurant and a conference room are also located inside the complex.
Apart from prayers and Gita classes, the temple is engaged in cow protection, book distribution and providing free meals to school children. Jagannath Yatra, Janmashtami, Diwali and Holi are celebrated with great enthusiasm.

Sisodia Rani Palace and Garden is located at a distance of 8 kms from Jaipur on Agra road. Built in the Mughal style, it is painted with stories of Radha and Krishna. The garden is multi-level and has fountains, water courses and painted pavilions. For his Sisodia queen Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II built it.
Galtaji Temple
Galtaji is an ancient pilgrimage centre of Jaipur. Nestled amidst low hills and thronged by locals and tourists alike, this charming place has temples, pavilions and holy kundas . Built by Dewan Kriparam, the temple can be seen from anywhere in the city.
Sambhar Lake
Sambhar Lake is one of the largest inland salt lake and is located just 70 km from Jaipur. It is an incredible landscape, almost resembling the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. In addition to producing a large percentage of India’s salt supply – it is also an incredible place for bird watching, including large flocks of flamingos. The views from Shakambhari Mata Temple are breathtaking at sunset and one can spend hours in solitude.
