ISKCON Temple Ahmedabad – Guide 

ISKCON Temple Sarkhej is located on Gandhinagar Road, Satellite Road, Ahmedabad. Popularly known as the Hare Krishna Temple, the ISKCON temple in Ahmedabad was built as a step to spread the teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to as many people as possible.

History of this temple

This magnificent ISKCON Temple of Ahmedabad was built by Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1997. An enchanting temple shows a perfect blend of Gujarat Sompura as well as Rajasthani Khamira styles of architecture. Visitors entering the temple can see stunning images of Lord Vishnu and his various avatars on either side of the walls.

By Train- The railway station of Ahmedabad called Kalupur Railway Station is located at a distance of 6 km from ISKCON Temple Ahmedabad. From here you can easily reach this temple by using local transport services or taxi.

By Road- Buses are run by both private and government operators from almost all the part of the country and can be reached from Geeta Mandir or Paldi bus stop. You can also book a private cab from top car rental companies in Ahmedabad to reach the temple.
