‘There will be blood’, JNU walls mangled with casteist slogans yet again

Anti Brahmin slogans on JNU walls

Anti-Brahmin slogans on JNU walls: “Brahmins are the new Jews.” This single sentence has the potential to attract the utmost hatred from the so-called liberal and progressive cabal, not only on Twitter but also in real life. It is a popular truth that in recent decades, especially during the colonial period, there have been severe caste-based atrocities, which is a documented fact.

However, there is another side to the story too: the story of atrocities committed against the Brahmin community. While atrocities against Brahmins are among the most researched phenomena around the globe, they remain one of the best kept secrets in post-independence India. The truth, however, has now been uncovered by the most controversial university in the country, the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

JNU walls uncover rampant hatred against Brahmins

JNU has been a centre of controversy, from raising slogans like “Bharat tere tukde honge” to unleashing violence against students. JNU has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. While JNUites portray themselves as the ones against “samatvaad” and “jaativaad,” the defaced walls of JNU reveal the real face.

Anti-Brahmin and Anti-Baniya slogans have been found written on the walls of different study centers of JNU. On the wall of the School of International Studies II, the slogans read, “Brahmin Baniya, we are coming for you,” “we will avenge,” “Brahmins leave the campus,” and “Brahmin leave India.” And the most shocking one was, “Now there will be blood.” The walls and doors of the rooms and offices of teachers have also been defaced with slogans like “Go back to Shakha.”

The reason for writing this is the professors’ association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The ones targeted by the leftist lobby are Nalin Kumar Mohapatra, Raj Yadav, Praveen Kumar, and Vandana Mishra.

The VC condemns, the ABVP blames the left

The photos went viral on social media, and there was a widespread demand for strict action by the authorities. According to a recent statement by the university authorities, The Vice Chancellor, Prof Shantishree D Pandit has taken serious note of the incident of defacement of the walls and faculty rooms.” The JNU authorities have not only condemned the exclusivist tendencies but have also promised stringent action.

However, the ABVP unit active on campus has accused the left of vandalism. ABVP JNU President Rohit Kumar said, “The communists have written abuses on the walls of JNU in the School of International Studies II building.” “They have defaced the chambers of free-thinking professors to incriminate them.”

The teachers uncover the reality of JNU

After the walls and doors were spray painted with slogans like “Go back to Shakha,”  the teachers who were victims of the hate have come forward and uncovered the reality.

Praveen Kumar said that “I am connected with the RSS; I am also a national spokesperson for the VHP… This is the problem with the left. They believe that whatever they say is only correct.” Kumar also said that the chambers of the professors who are in association with the ruling party or the RSS have been defaced. This is an indication of how the left on the JNU campus is intolerant of any opposing voice.

JNU, controversies, and Brahmins

Since its inception, the JNU campus has been a den of leftists and a ragtag team of Marxists, Socialists, communists, and anti-national elements. The campus and its actions have been a centre of controversy.

After 2014, leftists were forced to flee their heavily subsidised hostel rooms, fearing that the BJP government would destroy their carefully cultivated ecosystem. The tukde-tukde gang was the progeny of JNU, and soon the country got to know the bogeys that the university had spawned in its midst over decades of faulty supervision.

First they went anti-national, then they went anti-Hindu, and now they are anti-sawarn.  The time is now to correct the wrongdoings and teach the anti-national cabal of JNU a lesson for their lives; otherwise, there would be no end to such acts.
