“Lab pe Aati hai Dua Banke Tamanna Meri” – An Anti-Hindu, Muslim fanatic song that must be banned in Indian schools

Lab pe Aati hai Dua Banke Tamanna Meri

Lab pe Aati hai Dua Banke Tamanna Meri song: Seeing the world through bigoted and wrecked prism of Islamo-leftists can paint a contrarian picture of everything. As per their wicked sense of analysis, Sufis become the pious souls that mesmerise the world with their enchanting qawwalis. Further, Urdu becomes the language of love. But the truth is before everyone to see.

Now, a similar case has emerged from a government school in Uttar Pradesh. Reportedly, a school administration in Bareilly had imposed Islamic songs on students. It was all done in the name of morning prayers and seeking blessings from God.

Yogi government’s stern action on Islamisation in government school

Recently, the Urdu couplet of notorious poet Mohammad Iqbal stirred a heated debate in Uttar Pradesh. It all started when a video went viral on social media where students of Composite Kamla Nehru Upper Primary school were seen singing an Islamic prayer.

In the video, the students were singing Mohammad Iqbal’s “lab pe aati hai dua banke tamanna meri” during their morning assembly.

Protesting against the content of the viral video, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) lodged a complaint against the school administration. The group objected that the students of government school were forced to sing the verse “mere Allah burai se bachaana mujhko“.

Highlighting the Islamic verse, VHP accused that the school administration was hurting religious sentiments and was imposing Muslim methods on students.

VHP, through its complaint, further claimed that all of this was done with the aim to motivate young students towards Islam and convert them. Soon, an FIR was registered against Nahid Siddiqui, the principal of the government school, and Vajruddin, the contract teacher in question.

Taking cognizance of the matter, the state education department took swift action and immediately suspended the principal Nahid Siddiqui. The department then charged them with hurting religious sentiments and disturbing the school’s atmosphere. Further, the department also formed a committee to investigate the incident.

Leftist fascination with Iqbal and bigotry

It has been noticed on multiple occasions that the Islamo-leftist cabal has a strange fascination to keep proving themselves as hypocrites and apologists for bigotry. The same happened in this case.

After the actions by the Yogi administration, the cabal came out in support of Iqbal’s couplet. They used the cliche argument that Iqbal had written the famous lines “Sare jahan se achcha Hindustan hamara” and there was nothing controversial in the verses being sung by the students in that viral video.

Several people from leftist ecosystem like Rajdeep Sardesai made tweets claiming that it was unfortunate that the Urdu couplet was needlessly vilified and ‘communalised’.

Ironically, it was the same leftist ecosystem that had problems even with the National Anthem. Several of them had even termed the National Anthem as anti-Muslim. Just like Iqbal’s Urdu couplet, the ecosystem had also backed Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s bigotry and anti-Hindu song ‘Hum dekhenge’.

The leftist cabal forgets to note the moot point that it is plain wrong to impose Islamic or any religious verses in a secular institution like government schools.

In the end, I leave it to you, our viewers, with the other couplet of Mohammad Iqbal, ‘Tarana-e-Milli’, that these leftist ecosystems wilfully ignore to paint a contrarian picture on the man who was neck deep in bigotry.
