Ajay Devgan’s most awaited film ‘Drishyam 2’ has hit the box office like a storm. As soon as the film was released it dominated the box office. Right from the opening day, ‘Drishyam 2’ is performing consistently. Seeing the collection of the film, it is estimated that it can make a new record.
Drishyam2 is Directed by Abhishek Pathak with Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Akshaye Khanna, Rajat Kapoor and Shriya Saran as the star cast.
The box office collection of Drishyam 2 is all set to join the 200 crore club.

‘Drishyam 2’ earned ₹ 15.38 crore on the very first day. There was a tremendous jump in these numbers on the second day with a collection of ₹ 21.59 crores. On the third day, i.e., on the weekend, the theatres ran packed and the movie did a business of ₹ 27.17 crores.
The film collected Rs 11.87 crore on the fourth day, Rs 10.48 crore on the fifth day and Rs 9.55 crore on the sixth day. The collection saw a decline on the seventh, earning Rs 8.62 crore.
In the first week itself, Drishyam 2 had crossed the 100-crore mark, earning a total of Rs 104.66 crore.
The film earned Rs 7.87 crore on the eighth day which was lower than what it earned on the seventh day. But on the ninth day, the film regained the market and earned Rs 14.05 crore. It performed even better on the 10th day with a collection of Rs 17.32 crores.
From days twelve to seventeen, the film did a business of Rs 5.44 crore, Rs 5.15 crore, Rs 4.68 crore, Rs 4.31 crore, Rs 4.45 crore, Rs 8.45 crore and Rs 10.39 crores respectively.
If we look at the box office collection on the 18th day, the film earned 3.05 crores on Monday, and 2.53 crores on day 19. With this, the box office collection of Drishyam 2 has gone up to ₹ 192.34 crores.

Story of the film
The story of ‘Drishyam 2’ revolves around a family of four, whose lives turn upside down after an unfortunate incident that happened with their eldest daughter. Drishyam 2 chronicles the story of Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgn) and his family – wife Nandini and daughters Anju and Anu.
The movie starts with a bang and presents a nice blend of recap with the powerful lyrical song ‘Drishyam’. The first half of the film ends in the blink of an eye. Perhaps, time relativity.
There are several key moments where it looks that Vijay Salgaonkar and his family will falter and blurt out the secret about the murder mystery. But, BUT… then comes the twists and turns. The final twist leaves the audiences awestruck, with simple yet powerful logical ending, the film ends by hinting at a sequel, Drishyam 3.
