After the horrific partition, India has maintained an unassailable advantage over the warmongering nation, Pakistan. Through effective and meticulous military planning and strategy, India has repeatedly thrashed the terror-sponsoring nation. Now, it seems that the same scenarios are taking shape. But this time Pakistan will have to pay dearly for its anti-India hatred and terrorism.
Pakistan gets its new De-Jure Head
On the 24th of November, the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi officially appointed Lt. General Syed Asim Munir as the New Army Chief of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He was slated to retire on the 27th of November. But now he will have a three-year tenure in the office.
The newly appointed Army Chief Asim Munir will take charge on 29th November from the outgoing Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. With this, Asim Munir will be the first ‘Mullah General’ in the history of Pakistan. Evidently, when he was at the rank of colonel, he received the title Hafiz-e-Koran. It is given to those individuals who have memorised and can recite Quran entirely.

Mullah Commanders’ hatred for India
As per Retired Special Secretary R&AW Ramanathan Kumar, Mullah General Asim Munir is the outcome of Zia-ul-Haq’s promotion of overt religiosity in the Pakistan Army. This overt religiosity in Pakistan’s Army has a direct ramification for India. Evidently, India has lost several innocent lives because of the religious fanaticism and cowardice terrorist acts of three such Mullah Commanders.
Before the Kargil treachery by Pakistan, a Tablighi follower Brigadier Zahirul Islam Abbasi attempted his treacherous plan in the Siachen sector. In 1991, he made an unauthorised foray into the Indian side with his Jawans where the vigilant Indian Forces gave them the taste of Indian metal.
Later, when the “religiously oriented” Javed Nasir was the ISI Chief, India suffered the 1993 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai.
But Pakistan being Pakistan, the religious fanaticism and anti-India hatred have not dialled down. It has only increased.
In October 2018, ‘Hafiz-e-Koran’ Asim Munir took charge as ISI Chief. He was at the helm of affairs of the notorious intelligence agency when India suffered the dastardly terror attack in Pulwama in February 2019.
Even by the dysfunctional standards of Pakistan, the Islamic nation is going through a troubling time where a civil war is not a far-fetched possibility. But with a radicalised Mullah General getting power, these are dangerous signs for India as the terrorist outfits in Pakistan can get new fervour.
Furthermore, the terrorism industry in Pakistan has gained new life as US’s mollycoddling’ has pulled it out of the infamous grey list of the Financial Action Task Force.

Time to materialise the Parliamentary Resolution on POK
Although the news of the new Pakistan Army Chief was announced recently, but Pakistan had been re-activating its terror launch pads near the border. Reportedly, the Indian Army has been getting credible intel on Pakistan’s nefarious anti-India activities for a long time.
The military has been preparing pre-emptive as well as offensive counter-terrorism strategy. But as they say, to outclass your enemy you have to precisely think ahead of the enemy. You must always have contingency plans for all the possible steps of your enemy.
Apparently, the Indian Army has done the same. The army is ready to repeat 1971 so as to teach the much-needed military lesson to Pakistan. The Indian Army and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh have been vociferously stating that India is both determined as well as prepared to end the illegal occupation of Pakistan from Gilgit, Baltistan and the valley.
This time it is clear that the sinister planning by the rogue Islamic nation will prove to be detrimental to its own existence. It will result in another humiliation like the one suffered in 1971. It was the biggest military surrender in the Indian subcontinent where 93,000 Pakistani army men kneeled before the Indian Armed Forces. So, it is high time that India launches a pre-emptive operation and fructifies the Parliamentary Resolution on reclaiming POK to end the menace of terrorism once and for all.
