It means that where women are honoured, there the deities are pleased; but where they are not honoured, no sacred rituals can yield reward or prosperity. God only dwells where women are worshipped. This hymn is not a part of any passionate speech of some liberal intellectual. It is the Shloka from Manusmriti that had been imbibed in the perennial stream of Indian civilisation for aeons.
However, on account for countless reasons, Indian society lost a little track. It forgot to pass these valuable lessons to its next generation. Resultantly, the new generation fell prey to the ‘sassy’ and ‘cool’ ideas of the West.
The Irony of the matter is that the materialistic driven Western society could not do Justice to those ideals. With its virtue signalling and sloganeering, it gave female empowerment the worst form possible. The woketards (woke + retards) gave ugly and twisted meaning to female empowerment, which is still being constantly peddled by OTT giants.
Cussing, Intoxication, Kissing, rage fighting etc.– The deplorable forms of feminism on OTT
Recently, OTT giant Amazon Prime Videos released the third season of ‘Four More Shots Please’. Apparently, the show claims to revolve around the life of four independent unapologetically flawed women. This ‘all-women-protagonists’ web series is the epitome of what is wrong with West-influenced women empowerment.
As per these woketards, smoking, alcoholism, drugs, incessantly swearing, cheating, extra marital affairs, one-night stand (all just to show freedom and independence of women) and other negative things are the real symbols of FEMINISM.

The Bollywood cabal’s obnoxious portrayal of freedom, free choices, bold content and these ‘Wokist style’ of female empowerment crosses all the red lines. These series, without any head and tail, try to thrive on these acts, which, as a matter of fact, are just a miniscule part of life that too for a few people. These things are not a complete lifestyle in themselves.
They can simply be categorised as a perverse form of narration. With such immoral acts masqueraded in the name of free choice of women, OTT and Bollywood cabals have defamed female characteristics.

Wilful addition vs necessary depiction of scenes
Banning the depiction of these ‘sinful acts’ per se can sometimes limit the flow of movie progression. It can be understood that showcasing these things may be the requirement of the script. But it gets difficult to comprehend if these things become the central theme without any concrete story backing it.
To spice the already disgusted porridge of Feminism, OTT platforms have started to showcase reprehensible and exaggerated cases of LGBTQ+ experimentations.
Worst examples of this ridiculous sense of Female empowerment in OTT oozes in series like Four More shots, Madhuri Dixit-starrer Maja Ma and Mind the Malhotras among others.
It is not that there is no good content on Women empowerment. Prominent examples of them being Rani Mukherjee-starrer Mardaani, Priyanka Chopra-starrer biopic of MC Mary Kom, Aarya, Sherni and Maharani among others in the latest women-centric OTT series. Here we have not taken into consideration the success or failure, impact or genre of these women-centric content. They have been cited to demonstrate that Women Empowerment can be shown without repeated usage of crass language or filthy scenes.
In their desperate attempt to peddle the twisted sense of Women empowerment, the woketards are only harming the interest of women. With contents like Four More Shots Please, the OTT giants are gradually becoming a threat to women empowerment and are doing a great disservice to their cause.
