Dear R&AW, MI6, CIA and Interpol, leave everything at once and find Sakshi’s wallet

How many of you have heard that the leftists’ circles of India enjoy greater privileges in India. During the successive UPA governments, there was an established hegemony of the left liberal ideology in every spectrum of the country. Soon, after the advent of the Narendra Modi government the hegemony was busted and close aides of the Congress government across the journalism drawing board coalesced and were forced to form alternative left-wing media portals. Their sole purpose was to develop concentrated hate campaigns against the Prime Minister and the Bhartiya Janata Party. Although they were decimated, but old habits die hard and their habit of feeling influential enough is going some more time to fade. The same was visible when an influential left wing ‘journalist’ was seen asking British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to find her wallet.

Sakshi Joshi rings Sunak’s bells to find her wallet

On Friday, November 4, privileged journalist was seen asking the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to take cognisance of her stolen wallet. Actually, Sakshi Joshi landed in London and claimed that she was pickpocketed on the busiest and supposedly posh Oxford Street. She wrote on Twitter, “This is extremely shocking. I landed in London and first day pickpocketed on the busiest and supposedly posh Oxford Street; it’s been 20 hrs now. Have filed a complaint with London’s Metropolitan Police but no response till now. In the tweet she tagged the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and the newly appointed Prime Minister of Britain, Rishi Sunak

She further wrote in her tweet, “My wallet was pickpocketed from my bag at the busiest hour on 3rd Nov, 7.30 pm. It has cash, a forex card, my credit card, debit card, Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence, everything gone. And my country’s High Commission hasn’t responded. Metropolitan Police doesn’t care. This is London for you,”

What’s wrong with Sakshi’s tweet?

There is nothing wrong in tweeting about one grievance on Twitter as with time it has become a medium for people for getting early attention. It can be assumed that Joshi did the same, she had put it on micro blogging website Twitter as she might not have received adequate response from the local police and investigating agencies. But what drew eyebrows was Joshi’s attempt to tag the mayor and the prime minister. Joshi’s tweets reeked of entitlement and privilege. The privileged journalist assumed that the police investigation in London would be expedited on account of her influence in the leftist circles in India.

Social media users also pointed out the same.

Ideally, what was reflected from Sakshi’s tweet is that she wanted everyone from the police department to the Mayor of London, to the British Prime Minister to leave all the work they were involved in and dedicate all their efforts in finding Sakshi’s wallet. This is how the left intelligentsia functions; they want all the attention of the world as they perceive themselves as the narrative builders. They have no power and influence left in the nation are just left with youtube channels, so now they are trying to get the attention of the global media. For the unversed, Sakshi Joshi is the same journalist who probed Prashant Kishor on how Mamata Banerjee managed to carry out rally after rally without going to the loo during election campaigning. Sakshi Joshi admitted that she had never seen Mamata take a washroom break to ease herself.

The questions showed how in a nation that has forgotten the very essence of journalism, the likes of Sakshi Joshi are reviving journalism in India with such tweets.
