Congress’ power is gone, it’s time for the party to be gone

Bharat Jodo Yatra

Congress was once the only political force in the nation that ruled every constituency and every state in the country. However, over time the country has seen the emergence of many political parties and since 2014, the Congress has seen a steep decline. The Bharat Jodo Yatra can be categorised as another failure of the grand old party. Like many previous attempts of launching the Gandhi scion, the move was also set to meet its fate. The time ahead doesn’t seem any easy for the party.

Congress goes anti-Hindu as always

Congress and its policies were anti-Hindu at large as the party had primarily focussed on minority appeasement. And old habits die hard, this is the reason why Congress till date is still delivering anti-Hindu statements.

Karnataka Congress working president Satish Jarkiholi recently once again unveiled the real face of Congress. Jarkiholi questioned the belief of the majority community by questioning the origin of ‘Hindu’? The statement has attracted severe backlash and has forced the Congress party, known to openly take an anti-Hindu stance to distance itself from his remarks. He even said that not only the word but the religion as well is being imposed.

UK allows extradition of arms dealer

In a major blow to the Congress party, India has secured the extradition of Sanjay Bhandari, an arms dealer. The Westminster Court in the United Kingdom has cleared his extradition in a money laundering case being probed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED had initiated its investigation after a complaint under the Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income & Assets) and Imposition of Act, 2015 [Black Money Act] was filed against accused Sanjay Bhandari before the court by Income Tax authorities.
For the unversed, the probe conducted by the Income Tax Department had established links between Robert Vadra and Sanjay Bhandari. Bhandari is a close aide of Vadra and his extradition can ring the death knell for the Congress party because of an April 2010 E-mail trail between Vadra and Bhandari’s aide Thumpy regarding a London property.

Controversy around Bharat Jodo Yatra

The Bharat Jodo Yatra was presented as a rally that would launch the Gandhi scion, after several failed attempts. However, the Bengaluru court has ordered Twitter to temporarily block the handles of Congress and Bharat Jodo Yatra. Earlier, three senior Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi were booked for alleged unauthorised usage of the music from the blockbuster Kannada film KGF 2 during the yatra. In response to this, the court has asked Twitter to take down three tweets posted by Congress handles and temporarily block handles of Congress and Bharat Jodo Yatra.

This is not the only trouble as the yatra has previously exposed the Congress’ anti-Hindu nexus behind the yatra. As Rahul Gandhi was seen along with rabid Hindu hater and serial offender, George Ponnaiah who seem to be teaching Gandhi was Hinduism who was found to be claiming that Jesus is the true God, unlike Shakti (and other gods).

With the extradition of Sanjay Bhandari, it seems that the next man to be behind bars is Robert Vadra. Further, the Karnataka leader has dissolved the party’s prospects in the state, as elections are due next year. Congress is nowhere in the electoral battle, and the recent development suggests that as the party has lost power and it will soon lose it existence.
