ACA VDCA cricket stadium – Overview

The Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy International Cricket Stadium (ACA VDCA cricket stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium with a lush green field in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is mainly used for cricket. The stadium has two tiers and was designed to avoid any restricted view seats, with some Indian stadiums removing pillars or pillars that come within the spectators’ viewing area. The pitch is considered to be friendly for the batsmen.

Pitch of ACA VDCA cricket stadium

Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy is known as the International Cricket Stadium. The relatively low ground allows lightning to strike. The pitch favors the spinners and the ball does not bounce much and hence, batting second is not always beneficial, although the dew factor sometimes plays an important role. In recent matches, the team batting second in a T20 match has struggled to put even 80 runs on the board. In this stadium India made the highest ODI score of 387 runs against West Indies in the year 2019.
