The Bageshwar Dham: The Reality of Dhirendra Krishna Shastri

The land of religious belief is full of fraud babas, with the contribution of some exceptions.

Reality of Bageshwar Dham

Reality of Bageshwar Dham: India is a land of religious and spiritual heritage, confining people to fake belief, giving prevalence to so-called baba, swami, guru, Shastri, Bapu, or bhagat. For many to believe, the country has become a land of charismatic spiritual leaders. From rockstar guru Ram Rahim to the dancing Radhe Maa, these godmen try to bewitch both the rural and urban populace.

The land of religious belief is full of fraud babas, with the contribution of some exceptions. However, the question of their veracity remains unanswered. One such recent baba under the spectrum of scrutiny is Dhirendra Krishna Shastri and his Bageshwar Dham. Now the question is who is Dhirendra Shastri and why is he in the recent discussions? The spectrum of quizzing also includes his behaviour or promoting superstition and the practise of any magic.

Currently, the mainstream media, along with some YouTube channels and other social media platforms, are calling Dhirendra Krishna Shastri a virus and are running an agenda against him. To speculate, what is the Reality of Bageshwar Dham? What is his hidden story that needs an inspection? Many believe Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is a miraculous baba and is thus prevalent as a siddhi attained Baba or Shakti attained Baba.

Who is Dhirendra Krishna Shastri? and What is the Reality of Bageshwar Dham?

Bageshwar dham Temple is located in village Gadha in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. This is the temple of Balaji Hanuman. In 1986, the people of the village got the temple renovated. After this, Baba Setu, Lal Garg of village Gadha, reached the ancient temple of his village Gadha after taking initiation from Chitrakoot and started performing Ram Katha. Along with this, he also started performing some spiritual mythological rituals. This is where the alleged miracle started in Bageshwar Dham.

Dhirendra Krishna Garg, who was born on July 4th, 1996 in this village, later came to be known as Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. His father’s name is said to be Karpal Garg and his mother’s name is Saroj Garg. His grandfather was also a Siddh saint, whose name was Bhagwandas Garg. His grandfather was associated with the Nirmohi Akhara, which was also used to hold court near the Hanuman temple. Further, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri also started holding divine court. Soon, the popularity of his court started increasing.

The saint is considered revered among the masses due to his spiritual tactics of allegedly healing the people’s problems. He is regarded as miraculous as he plays over the psychological problems of the people. There are various incidents surrounding Dhirendra Krishna Shastri baba, where he is alleged to have provably cured individual issues through his alleged powers.

The first so-called miracle looks like Dhirendra Krishna Shastri calling a person by his name from a crowd of thousands. Further, he writes the information about that person, what his problem is, the duration of the problem, and the solution to that problem, among other things, over a piece of paper without actually asking the person about it. Interestingly, the person’s real and true problem comes out as the same as predicted and written by Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. Additionally, Shastri also suggests ways to solve the problem, which include performing a Havan or wearing black clothes and so on.

The second miracle includes an incident about some jinn, ghost, or spirit allegedly entering into a person’s body that was troubling him. In light of solving the problem, Bageshwar Dham Sarkar or Dhirendra Krishna Shastri drives away the jinn from the body. Impressively, during this time, the jinn, or ghost, are believed to actually have a conversation with Shastri. And this, in and of itself, appears quite appealing to the general public.

The so-called miracle babas that continue to exist

Likewise, there have been numerous other cases where such so-called babas came out as serving the human community with some ill-minded tactics performed under the table.

You must have heard about Devraha Baba, who is still in discussions about his supernatural powers. People believe that Devraha Baba used to talk to uninhabited things. Unimaginably, Prasad used to automatically appear in the hands of Devraha Baba due to his super powers. Many great personalities like Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Indira Gandhi, and Madan Mohan Malviya were influenced by Devraha Baba.

It is said that Devraha Baba never lived on the ground, but instead used to build a platform above the ground. His 70-80 year old devotees said they hadn’t seen any change in his physique since they first saw him. Several shreds of evidence suggest he was more than two hundred years old. To put it simply, he avoided bodily deterioration.

Similarly, other such stories include Neem Karoli baba. People say that Neem Karauli Baba also had powers. Be it the story of Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, the story of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg or the story of Hollywood’s famous actress Julia Roberts, all these are considered to be devotees of Neem Karauli Baba.

Considering these anecdotes, it’s perennial to ask how far these miracles are true. Do they really work to solve people’s problems or is that a mere pretence? Considerably, it would not be right to dismiss it outrightly or to accept it either. It might promote superstition. This will encourage hypocrisy among the people in society, keeping in mind that India is a land of saints, sages, and ascetics, some of whom have attained true siddhi.

There can be no specific answer or belief in the super powers of these babas. Undoubtedly, almost every other alternate mahatma or baba eventually comes out as a fraudster, looting people for the sake of money or some personal interest. However, there have also been cases where the saints were never proven frauds due to their real knowledge of supernatural powers. Now it’s a question for every individual to decide whether to believe some prudish or believe in karma, as it always pays off wisely.
