As per normal human behaviour, ‘Humility is response to an experience of failure.’ Well, to your surprise the aforementioned trait is also visible in not so normal people, like our Bollywood superstars, or the Khans.
Aamir Khan seeks ‘apology’
After literally begging the public to watch his last release ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, Aamir Khan is now seeking an apology for his misdeeds.

“मिच्छामि दुक्कडम्
हम सब इंसान हैं… और गलतियाँ हमसे ही होती है
कभी भूल से… कभी हरकतों से
कभी अनजाने में
कभी गुस्से में… कभी मजाक में
कभी नहीं बात करने से
अगर मैंने किसी भी तरह से कभी भी आपका दिल दुखाया हो…
तो मन, वचन, काया से क्षमा माँगता हूँ…
मिच्छामि दुक्कडम्”
The video message titled ‘Micchami Dukkadam’ that was posted by Aamir Khan productions on Twitter was aimed at seeking an apology with the above well written message. This was posted on the occasion of Samvatsari, the last day of Jain holy event Paryushan, on which they seek forgiveness for having hurt anyone intentionally or unintentionally.
Post shared, deleted and then again shared
The ‘Micchami Dukkadam’ video clip that was shared on Thursday morning on both Twitter and Instagram handles of Aamir Khan Productions, was deleted shortly after sharing. The previous version contained a lot of typos, like it wrote ‘insane’ for ‘insaan’, whereas the voiceover said, ‘hum sab insaan hain’ (we all are humans), the text read, ‘hum sub insane hain’ (we all are crazy).
It was reposted in the afternoon; however, the mistakes were no less.
In the second post ‘sama’ was changed to ‘shama’, which should have been ‘kshama’, and the post retained ‘dukaya’ which should have been ‘dukhaya’.
To add on, the voice which seeked apology seemed to be a mimicry of Shah rukh Khan’s voice, with the theme of ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’.

Dear Aamir Khan, forced apology is not an apology
For the time being, let us forget the typo errors that the team of Aamir Khan committed and just focus on the intentions of Aamir Khan. It seemed from the ‘Micchami Dukkadam’ post that Aamir Khan is repenting for all his past sins, which are innumerable. Well, after listening to Aamir Khan’s heartfelt message one thing is quite clear that it is an effect of Lal Singh Chaddha that turned out to be a disaster. The film has made just a total of Rs 55 crores in the Hindi belt. The overseas collection is looking to clock $7.5 million. The movie is a disaster as long as the collections are considered. Mr. Perfectionist has just understood the might of people and has tasted a devastating drubbing at the box-office that has made him apologise for his past sins.
Aamir Khan and his sins
Aamir Khan has earlier also tried to drive a similar emotional campaign favouring him during the days of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. He seeked apology with bowed head and folded hands, just that he wrote a “Love,a” which was missing from yesterday’s post.
The failure of LSC may have brought Khan to his knees, as no other reason can be traced behind his apology, one thing that Khan needs to realise is his sins are not forgivable. Mocking Hindu Devis and Devatas is not a forgivable sin. And the ‘Hinduphobia’ of Aamir Khan is just not a single film phenomenon that was visible in just PK. In Lal Singh Chaddha too, Aamir’s character was seen mocking the belief of Hindus as he said, “Puja-Paath se malaria failta hai.” The one acknowledges a statement like, ‘afraid of living in India’ cannot repent his sins with as many messages he wants to write.
