Atul Khatri mocks Exodus of Kashmiri Pandits; Vivek Agnihotri takes him to the cleaners

The movie Brahmastra is all set to release on September 9. Some people still believe that the movie might not succeed at the box office even though its advance booking is pretty good. Rattled by the success of The Kashmir Files, stand-up comedian Atul Khatri, suggested that the upcoming film’s title be changed to Brahmastra Files so that the ‘Bhakts’ would go and watch it.

Atul Khatri not only expressed his hate towards the underdogs excelling in Bollywood but also mocked the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus. The not-so-funny stand-up comedian tried to act funny by tweeting, “Rename the movie to Brahmastra Files and all the Bhakts will watch it.”

As soon as the comedian Atul Khatri tweeted this, he was lambasted by many twitter users, one twitter user wrote, “Oh. Comedy Ka level. When you think it’s reached bottom and cannot fall further, Khatru surprises you by going 22 litres more.” (sic)

Another twitter user handle @nishabha27 wrote, “And that small brain is what is leading to the downfall of your likes Mr. Khatri. Continuing to make fun and being oblivious to the demands of your biggest customer base….. But then who am I to highlight this, it would have been pretty obvious if not for that brain size.”

Atul Khatri took a dig on Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’, and soon he was taken to the cleaners by Vivek Agnihotri as he quoted Atul’s tweet saying, “Change your name to Atul Santri, you will find employment.”

The exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley in late 1980s is the subject of the film.

Brahmastra is already in doldrums

One of nepotism’s best-known products, Ranbir Kapoor, is returning to the silver-screen with a long awaited project Brahmastra. Ranbir played the lead in Karan Malhotra’s “Shamshera,” which was just released a month ago. He will soon return to theatres with Ayan Mukerji’s “Brahmastra.” But the movie is already in hot soup before it releases.

The future of “Brahmastra” appears to be in peril. Even though the movie hasn’t even been released, calls for a boycott have already begun. Every day, the hashtag #boycottBrahmastra is trending on Twitter. A trend against the movie had already begun after Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt’s comments. A new video of Ranbir Kapoor is currently becoming viral on social media.

Ranbir Kapoor is heard on the video stating that “he likes to eat beef.” The moviegoers are outraged by this and have begun calling for “Boycott Brahmastra.” People are criticising the actor for eating such delicacies while portraying Shiva in Brahmastra.

The end is clear, left liberals are hell bent on destroying their own ecosystem and it is evident from the recently released films such as Laal Singh Chadda, Liger, Gangubai Kathiawadi among others. The Bollywood must come into line in order to save the already dilapidated state of the traditional film culture.
