Mansi Sharma has a lifelong ambition to join the military. When she started taking acting classes and going on auditions in college, she changed her mind. 2012 saw her make her acting debut in the television series Aasmaan Se Aage.

She is highly known for her depiction of Neena Sachin Deshmukh in Pavitra Rishta as well as Ambalika in one of the iconic Indian television serials Mahabharat. She has also contributed to films in Malayalam and Punjabi. She actually began her acting career in the Malayalam film Ache Din before moving on to the Punjabi film Jugaadi Dot Com.

She contributed to numerous television series, including Uttaran, Mariyam Khan Reporting Live, and Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum. She is also recognized for having played antagonistic and supporting characters in soap operas.
