Starting from Himalayas and extending up to Indian Ocean is the nation created by God which is known as ‘Hindusthan’. However, it seems that the cultural imposition is so strong that it has made us forget our civilisational history.

The civilisational state of India has suffered a wrath of foreign invasions. The invaders as soon as they kept their foot on the Indian soil, their singular focus became to ruin the culturally dominant mainland Bharat. And the best way to ruin a civilisation is to ruin its culture traditions and history. The same happened with Bharat.

While many groups just came looted and went back like the Iranis and Afghanis whereas the Mughals and British stayed in India and are guilty of cultural imposition, specifically to say cultural genocides. The imposition was such that till today, there are many groups who are still busy crediting the invaders for different things and are living in denial of the civilisation history of India. The recent culprit is The Scroll.

The Scroll credits Mughals for Muraba

In a recently published article, The Scroll talking about the arrival of Mango season credited the Mughals for Muraba’s popularity in India. Muraba is a preserve made with sugar, spices and fruit, ideally pectin rich. The fruit is taken whole or cut in chunks and cooked in sugar, which is potent humectant to a precise degree.

As per The Scroll, the word Muraba is of Arabic origin. The sources cited here, is 10th century cook-book Annals of the Caliphs’s Kitchen by Ibn Sayyar Al-Warraq. In the book, a particular chapter is dedicated to the preparation and recipes of Murabas. The article even mentions that Arabs used to fortify their Murabas with herbs and spices and used them for medicinal purposes.

While in first half of the article, the publication is busy crediting Mughals for the advent of Murabas on the Indian soil. At the end, the article concludes that there are many theories and stories popular when it comes to the origin of Muraba. Still, The Scroll is busy thanking the Mughals. Is The Scroll even guilty?

The mindset of worshipping the invaders

The Scroll must not have found itself guilty, as it is a part of the cabal who love the foreign invaders and credits them for India’s growth and prosperity. The left ecosystem has penetrated so deep with the idea of ‘invaders worship’ that it does not even feel strange to do so.

Read More- India must embrace its glorious past

It has been a public discourse that Mughals did not loot India, but were as Indian as everyone of us. It has been told that although Mughals came to India as conquerors, they somehow suffered a drastic change of heart, and lived as Indian rulers and not as conquerors. Well, it is just an attempt of whitewashing the sins of the Islamic rulers who are equally guilty of draining India’s wealth. As per history records, the wealth was sent to the countries that Mughal rulers owed allegiance to-like Arab, Persian, Turkic among others. Not only wealth, Muslim invaders also carried Hindu slaves.

India was the world’s leading economy from 1 CE to 1000 CE but in the second millennium it lost the top spot to China after the Islamic invaders razed India’s universities, disrupted the economic systems and caused havoc in religious and social life. The liberals under the Congress Raj have fed us with a theory of loving our invaders, who are guilty of cultural genocide of Bharat and The Scroll’s piece is just another case in point.
