First it was Kareena Kapoor, then Alia Bhatt, and now Karan Johar.
It has been just a few days, when Alia Bhatt had gathered ire with her arrogant remark, before the release of Brahmastra. During an interview, Alia reiterated Kareena Kapoor Khan’s words and dug up a grave for Brahmastra. She said, “I can’t keep defending myself verbally. If you don’t like me, don’t watch me. I can’t help it.”
While the box-office collection of any film hardly impacts the bank account of any actor, a businessman or a producer should refrain themselves from indulging in any activity that could lead to a huge loss or a disaster like Laal Singh Chaddha.
Karan Johar doesn’t seem to understand that. Even though he is a cockroach who can survive anything, it seems hard that he will be able to deal with what he has created for himself.
“Do not watch my films,” said Karan Johar
A video of Karan Johar engaging with the media-personnel is making the rounds on social media. When asked about the Boycott trend, which by default, is one of the most discussed topics these days, he said that “Boycott gang is a group of trolls and I don’t take them seriously. I don’t care if they don’t watch my film. I am not forcing them to watch my films.”

Karan’s never-ending tantrums
This is not the first time that Karan Johar is seen throwing such tantrums. When the NCB turned its eyes towards Karan Johar following a complaint filed by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President and AkaliDal leader Manjinder Singh Sira, who alleged that at a party hosted by Karan Johar in 2019, drugs and other narcotic substances were consumed by the attendees.
Mr. Johar released a statement calling reports of drug consumption at his party last year ‘misleading’ and ‘wrong’, He also claimed that the current spotlight on him and his production house was part of a ‘malicious campaign’.
Karan Johar, following nationwide uproar against the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and immense backlash against Bollywood’s insiders, had also unfollowed many people on Twitter, including close celebrity friends and star kids, like Alia Bhatt and Twinkle Khanna.

You see, the Indian audiences are in no mood to bear the arrogance of such brazen stars. Bollywood is constantly under the firing range for its anti-India and Hindu-phobic content. In such situation, arrogant remarks from these stars are only adding oil to the fire.
This time, Karan Johar has invited the wrath of the audience who made him an iconic producer and director. It’s the money of the audience spent on his movies which made Karan Johar, the millionaire he is today. Such statements are going to impact his career as a producer and director. People will now boycott him for such brazen statements.
