Kamal Rashid Khan – A stinging pain in Bollywood’s elitist rear

KRK review

Controversial Bollywood actor Kamal Rashid Khan, also known as KRK, is a self-proclaimed critic. He is popular for his antics on and off the stage and keeps landing himself in controversy because of his comments and mindboggling reviews for the films.

While Bollywood is already on its knees as Laal Singh Chaddha, which was being touted as the biggest hit of the year, ended up falling flat at the box office, KRK has become a stinging pain in Bollywood’s so-called celebrities’ rear as he keeps adding salt to the fire through his comments and reviews.

LSC review by KRK received more praises than the movie itself

A day after the release of the film, KRK uploaded a 13-minute long review of the Aamir Khan starrer on Youtube. The video, till now, has been viewed over 1,273,828 times, which is a far better number when compared to cinemagoers in theatres watching LSC.

KRK, in his review, said that Aamir Khan has unnecessarily dragged the movie like chewing gum. “The film has added especially extra 15 minutes to show the greatness of the people of Pakistan,” KRK added.

The actor cum critic also raised a pertinent question saying, “If you wanted to play the character of a mentally deranged man, why did you feel the need to dress up like a Sikh? Do you want to imply that all Sikhs are mentally unstable?”

Kuch toh soch leta movie likhna se pehale (You should have put in more thought before writing this movie),” KRK stated slamming Aamir Khan. He also discussed an issue that is not discussed widely in the entertainment corridors.  He emphasised how an aged cast sabotaged their own movie as they tried to play youngsters. “Screenplay is bad and scattered. It looks as if Aamir tried to accommodate every event that took place in India in one movie,” KRK ended by saying this.

Hilariously, people found the review more interesting than the movie and heaped praises on KRK for such honest comments.

KRK takes Tapsee to the cleaners

Recently, Taapsee Pannu’s Dobaaraa opened to empty theatres. The reason? Well, the actress herself had urged the moviegoers to boycott her film. As a result, the film couldn’t perform even decently. It was only after the first day collections that the movie started to lose its screens too.

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta took the onus to support Dobaaraa as well as Taapsee Pannu. Hansal slammed those ‘critics’ calling them paid ‘monsters.’ Sharing screenshots of Kamaal Rashid Khan and Rohit JA and wrote, “#Dobaaraa has done 72 lacs from 370 screens. Which is more than decent. It is these self-proclaimed experts/critics who are part of the malaise affecting us. The industry created these monsters by sucking up to them, paying them and now getting kicked in the back by them.”

Taapsee, in response to the tweet, wrote, “Sir, no matter how much you repeat a lie often, it won’t become the truth. And these people who have relevance just because of the films, are only trying to harm the industry. Imagine how foolish they are. Anyways, Dobaaraa is a little difficult for them to comprehend, can you blame them?”

KRK, for the man he is, would not have kept quiet. He requoted the tweet shared by Taapsee Pannu and reacted, “You are 100% correct @taapsee ! You may scream and report incorrect collections but the public knows what the real business is. They know that your film is a disaster and this film is out of league ever for the public, that is why nobody reached the theatres to watch it. See for yourself.”

KRK calls Arjun Kapoor a super flop hero

You see, Bollywood is now frustrated. Thus, they are venting out their anger on the public who is boycotting Bollywood as it is tired of the propaganda and copied content. Arjun Kapoor too slammed cinemagoers for Boycotting Bollywood movies. Moreover, he further urged that Bollywood needs to unite against the trolls.

KRK being KRK, uploaded a video on his YouTube channel, only to slam Arjun Kapoor for his remark on Boycott trends.

He, in his video said, “It is understandable if the public boycotts Aamir Khan’s film. It is understandable if you boycott Shahrukh Khan’s film. But how can you insult a super-duper great flop hero like Arjun Kapoor? How can you boycott that poor movie? It means now you will also boycott the film of a actor whose film even a dog does not go to see.”

He further added, “If the public boycotts Varun Dhawan’s film, I can agree. The boycott of Sidharth Malhotra’s films is also understandable. But how can public boycott a film of Lukkhe like you.”

You see, KRK is not a regular critic who would highlight goods and bads of a film. He will rip into you if you dare to create any mess and disrespect him. The Bollywood is not trying to attack public as they have stopped ‘worshipping’ these celebrities. These so-called gods have been reduced to an artist, which is what making them anxious.

KRK is doing nothing but showing a mirror to these celebs and has become a stinging pain in the posteriors of the Bollywood.
