Hardik Patel Biography and Career
Hardik Patel is an Indian politician and social activist who was born on July 20, 1993. He first gained notoriety in July 2015 when he took the helm of the Patidar reservation movement, which aimed to give the Patidar caste Other Backward Class (OBC) status. Career
Patel supported the Indian National Congress (INC) during the 2017 election for the Gujarat legislative assembly. Bharat and Usha Patel welcomed Hardik Patel into the world on July 20, 1993, into a Gujarati Patidar family. His parents relocated to Viramgam in 2004. Hardik attended Divya Jyot School in Viramgam for grades six through eight before transferring to K B Shah Vinay Mandir for grades nine through twelve. He loved cricket and was a struggling student. After completing Class XII, Hardik started helping his father, Bharat, to manage a small business of servicing submersible pumps in underground water wells. Bharat worked for the Congress.
Patel enrolled at Ahmedabad’s Sahajanand College in 2010. He made a run for the general secretary position of the college students’ union and won with no opposition. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com.) in 2013.
Relationship
Hardik Patel wed Kinjal Parikh, a childhood friend, at Digsar of the Muli taluka of Gujarat’s Surendranagar district. The couple married on January 27, 2019.
