The story of Mohammed Zubair that no media portal can tell you about

Zubair TFI Connection

Welcome to TFI Premium, so finally the expected occurred. Mohammed Zubair has been arrested for hurting religious sentiments. He has been accused of offending religious sentiments, and inciting hatred under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police. As of now, he has been sent to 4 days of police custody by the court for the same –

However, this is not the only reason for which he is under the radar. Delhi Police has accused Mohammed Zubair of not cooperating with the authorities from the very beginning. In fact, when the Special Cell inquired about the said phone from which the tweets and posts were made, Zubair said that it was ‘misplaced’.

Now naturally the first reaction in your mind would be ‘Oh boy, he’s a leftist, what else would he do?’ However, there is more than what meets the eye. Behind the dual faced persona of Mohammed Zubair, lies a reality, which no media portal has the courage to show, save us. Here you shall know about the man, known to the world for his vitriol against Hindus in the name of ‘fact check’.

The story began in 2012. The masses were tired of the rampant corruption and appeasement, that was the norm in UPA led government, which was at the helm of affairs in the Centre. The Jan Lokpal Andolan had its effect too. Into such chaos and absolute frustration, stepped in a techie, Atul Mishra. Like everyone else, Atul Mishra, was extremely frustrated by the deteriorating economy, the ‘near extinct’ culture, the rampant corruption as well as the overt minority appeasement, and so he created a Facebook page titled ‘The Frustrated Indian’, which paved way for an impeccable legacy, known today as TFI.

Within a year, The Frustrated Indian grew by leaps and bounds. They gave a platform to millions of those voices, who were ignored by the Big Media. Initially, the Platform was administered by illustrious people like Rahul Sharma, Sunil Srivastava, Sunil Pandey, Kishor V Ramsubramaniam, Shefali Vaidya among others, who made TFI a force to reckon with.

It was here that the story of Mohammed Zubair actually began

Now you might be thinking that Mohammad Zubair and TFI? How is this even possible? Like we said that TFI gave voice to everyone, and Mohammed Zubair was quite influenced too. There were other pages on Facebook as well, but TFI had a difference, from their in depth analysis on social structure, to the electoral observations and cultural analysis, TFI had a different, and often hilarious take. It was here that Zubair made his debut in the comment section of the TFI. He never failed to make his presence felt in the comment section, so much so that TFI rewarded Zubair with their Comment awards, which were later verified by many social media users as well-

Now how could such a person be ignored by the admin panel of the FB page? Zubair’s witty take on various issues attracted the attention of the TFI top brass, and he soon became friendly with everybody. He wasn’t a BJP supporter, but wasn’t a Congress sycophant either. Like many young folks of that time, Mohammad Zubair was a Kejriwal fanboy, influenced by his growing popularity. Consider it this way that he wanted to milk the opportunity, and he did it to the greatest.

By 2014, Zubair opened his own FB page, Unofficial Subramanian Swamy aka SusuSwamy, which took potshots at Subramanian Swamy for his radical opinions. For Zubair, Swamy was quite radical and not appropriate for ‘modern India’. However, the turning point came when Swamy dragged Zubair’s page to the court. He did what no seasoned politician should have done.

It wasn’t for nothing that Ramadhir Singh said in Gangs of Wasseypur ‘Chhota Aadmi Gundai Karna Chahta Hai Karne Do’, that is if a worm dreams of being a lion, let him be. By giving a troll like Zubair unnecessary attention, Subramanian Swamy, the very guy who denied Sonia Gandhi the chance to become India’s PM, and who was still a respected politician in his own right, gave Mohammed Zubair the fame that he wanted for so long.

Meanwhile, because of the thumping majority that Narendra Modi got in the 2014 elections, those who were wearing the cloak of etiquette and conduct, now openly started abusing his character. Zubair also decided to support this entire lobby. Along with this, Zubair started campaigning day and night against the same TFI which brought him prosperity and fame.

It seemed that the goal of this man’s life was to defame TFI. From morning till evening, and night to morning whenever Zubair got time, he would start spewing venom against TFI. One of the main reasons behind this was that only after speaking against TFI, the likes on his page increased, the comments increased, so he continued to do it. Atul Mishra, the founder of TFI, did not object to this. He said do it brother. If you get fame by abusing TFI then go on. And he kept on writing against TFI.

One day water went over the head when Mohammad Zubair posted a photo of TFI founder Atul Mishra and his wife on social media. The scriptures also say that after a time it is necessary to speak – one who suffers silently will never be acknowledged as a brave person.

Atul Mishra no longer remained silent, he reacted sharply to this dastardly act. After which Mohammad Zubair had to apologize. After this his ties with TFI were broken forever. After this a person enters who played his tricks by making a pawn out of a fool like Zubair. At that time there used to be another popular page on Facebook, whose name was ‘Truth of Gujarat’.

Its director was Prateek Sinha. But he was not any ordinary person. He was already an ‘infamous human rights activist’ and son of a staunch Gujarat Congress leader. His father was Mukul Sinha. Mukul Sinha had two main noteworthy traits. The first thing being, after the Gujarat riots, just like Teesta Setalvad he also ran a vicious campaign against then Gujarat CM Modi and used Gujarat Riots to malign brand Modi. The second is that he contested many assembly elections in Gujarat only to face humiliating defeat each time. So, you must have gauged some sense about the background of Prateek Sinha who is the son of Mukul Sinha.

The bond between Pratik and Zubair grew and they soon became ‘good’ friends. However, the ‘naïve’ person in Mohammad Zubair couldn’t understand the underlying motive of Pratik Sinha behind the friendship. No matter how Zubair was at heart, he was a pretty good content creator and was a outspoken guy who was too easy to control. Sinha needed a Muslim face, who could be the front-end to transcribe his hate for Modi and deliver it to the common masses. Pratik Sinha found a gem in Mohammad Zubair to fit the requirements.

From here, the genesis of Alt News occurred, as Sinha now had a perfect face to bank upon and initiate his hate-buisness. The two of them started the Alt News that claimed to be a fact-checking website at the first, but soon its reality was exposed, that the Alt news was not based on checking facts, but a tool of spreading hatred and misinformation regarding the BJP government, and their special target was Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The web-potral that began with the veil of fact-checking soon started spreading their agenda, which was checking every update from the right-wing portals. However, the founders of Alt News did not want to look bias, for that they fact checked the news updates from the Left portals too, may be once in a month. They were so frustrated that they soon resorted to fact-checking the memes published by right wing web-portals.

Though the immense ‘hardships’ of Sinha and Zubair that they had put in, creating a web-portal in Modi’s India started getting recognition. Soon their ‘hard work’ started paying them back. They developed a fan base of their own. This can be referred to as a calculative effort, as it is a well known fact that any Left-leaning portal would attract the Left liberal cabal of India. Be it the ‘leader of the Opposition’ Rahul Gandhi or the renowned ‘journalist’ Rana Ayyub, with their constant support Alt News went on to become the ‘CNN’ of the Left liberal circle of India. Through their anti-Modi rant, their influence grew to an extent in the international circles that the founders were named for the Nobel Prize. However, this didn’t absolve them of their sins.

In order to insult PM Modi, the left liberal portal has stooped to every level possible. However, in the past one year, Mohammed Zubair committed sins of such level that his arrest was inevitable. The co founder of Alt News had attempted to get relief from Delhi High Court on a tweet that revealed his horrific personality. However, the Court refused to give him relief, following which Delhi Police launched an FIR owing to a complaint from NCPCR chief Priyank Kanoongo, who accused him of violating provisions of POCSO in August 2020.

This is nothing. The lynching and beard-cutting incident of a muslim man selling amulets in Ghaziabad’s Loni was not only given a communal color under the leadership of Mohammad Zubair but also fake news was disseminated indiscriminately. However, all these alleged left-wing journalists were forced to apologise due to the action and investigation of the UP Police in this matter.

In the end, we end this article by saying one thing that if Mohammad Zubair was not brainless and stupid he is- he might not have fallen into the trap of Pratik Sinha. He fell into the trap and was used by Sinha for his vested political interests, he would probably not have become the ‘Muslim’ face of anti-Modi hatred propagated by Sinha. If he had a brain as comparable to a five year old child, he would have cracked the conspiracy behind Sinha’s allegiance and would have survived and today instead of being behind bars for his Hindu hatred he would have made his name as a content creator.
