“Satyendra Jain’s arrest is Jain community’s disrespect,” says AAP’s ‘heavyweight’ Sanjay Singh

Sanjay Singh Jain

Have you ever wondered why the lady Justice has a blindfold? So that, the Justice is impartial and no one is discriminated against on any ground be it religion, colour or caste. As, it is a fact that Criminal has no religion, race or caste. It is the mindset which is responsible for the criminal act. But the Aam Aadmi Party seems to have made it a habit to link criminals and their community. Time and again AAP has used the minority victim card to save its criminal leaders and it has done it yet again.

Sanjay Singh comes in support of arrested AAP Minister

Isn’t it ironic that AAP which projects itself as the champion of clean politics has a long list of tainted criminal leaders? Additionally, it is the same party that claims to do politics free of crime, corruption and without using religion or caste cards. But all these traits are only for the Party’s media advertisement, as it has yet again used the community angle of its tainted leader. Evidently, AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, held a press conference to openly shield Minister Satyendra Jain and ridiculously used his religion as a shield.

Singh tried to project Satyendra Jain as the world’s most honest, hard working and talented Politician. He said,”Jain is paying the price of being an honest leader who is working day and night to improve the health facilities in Delhi. He has made the country proud in the entire world with his public service. The entire world is praising the health model of Delhi and a huge credit goes to Satyendar Jain”.

He further tried to give a clean chit to the tainted party leader and said, “Jain has been interrogated for five days but no evidence of corruption has been found. When the High Court asked, the ED said that there is no FIR, no complaint against him. Then why is he still in custody?”

Atrocious analogy to drag in the whole Jain Community

After eulogising his ‘corrupt’ leader, Singh raked up bizarre argument and linked Satyendra Jain with the entire Jain Community. He said, “This is not only an insult to Satyendar Jain but an insult to the entire Jain community. The community has contributed to the progress and development of the country. Today the entire society is angry because of the harassment of Jain. Jain community across the country feels they are being targeted”.

The Jain community refutes Sanjay Singh’s bizarre statements

What can be more humiliating for the AAP party and RS MP Sanjay Singh then the strong worded opposition and backlash from the Jain community. Several people from the Jain community tweeted refuting these atrocious links of criminals and their community.

Hitesh Jain, a member of the Jain community, said that it is unfortunate that AAP is taking recourse to religious sentiments to cover the blatant benami transactions and misdeeds of its own Minister.

He tweeted, “The Jain community which prides itself on the values of aparigraha is not hurt, but rather upset due to corrupt deeds of Satyendar Jain. On the contrary, it is Satyendar Jain whose benami transactions have brought disrepute to the entire Jain community”.

Another user Ankit Jain tweeted, “Being a prominent member of the Jain community, I can say that Jains are the safest under this government. We do not endorse scamsters using the community’s name to get out of jail”.

It is shameful for a political party to link crime and community. But as they say, hoping for crime, religion and caste free politics is too much, especially from a party (AAP) which has a ugly track record of backing and rewarding tainted and corrupt leaders. It is interesting to note that Sanjay Singh has very well adopted his supremo’s tactics as earlier, Delhi CM and party Supremo Arvind Kejriwal had termed Satyendra Jain as a Patriot. So, it is not wrong for Sanjay Singh to make such atrocious analogies as he has to match his party supremo to keep his party membership.
