The ransacking of properties, violent protests, arson and killing of innocent people – these are the weapons of Islamists that have constantly been used by them for protesting against the government or Hindus. However, they do not use these weapons without any proper plan or a toolkit prepared for its execution.
Now, they have come out using their weapon again in Kanpur of Uttar Pradesh. Well, all thanks to Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair. The allegation levied by him upon BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has not only become a threat to Nupur’s life but has also shattered the peace in Kanpur.
Kanpur clashes
The city of Kanpur witnessed ‘peaceful’ mobs hurling bombs and pelting stones at each other as violence erupted after groups of people forced shopkeepers to shutters down. The Islamists began the violence over an alleged insult to Prophet Mohammed during a television show. Clashes broke out in Pared, Nai Sadak and Yateemkhana areas of the city after Friday namaz, police said.
“The two sides hurled bombs and opened fire as members of one of the groups attempted to shut shops over alleged insulting remarks made by BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma during a television debate recently,” a senior police official said.
The violent mob was given baton treatment by the police personnel to disperse the mob. Meanwhile, 18 people have been arrested in connection with the incident. “Those involved in the violence are being identified with help of video clips of the incident. Eighteen people have been arrested,” said Additional Director General (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar.
It is pertinent to note that some local leaders, including Maulana Mohammed Ali (MMA) Jauhar Fans Association chief Hayat Zafar Hashmi, had urged people to close their shops on Friday in protest against the remarks.
However, after being confronted by the other community during the procession, they resorted to clashes and violence.
Kanpur police commissioner Vijay Singh Meena, who reached the spot, told reporters, “Suddenly, around 50-100 people came and started raising slogans, which was opposed by the other side. Then there was stone pelting. The police force controlled the situation to a great extent.”
As of now, the Uttar Pradesh Police has booked 500 people for rioting and violence in Kanpur that left 40 injured.
A pre-planned conspiracy
A closer view of the Kanpur clashes gives a clear indication that the violence was a pre-planned conspiracy. Police said Hayat Zafar Hashmi, who is the national president of the Maulana Muhammad Jauhar Ali Fans Association, had called for the market shutdown.
As alleged by a BJP leader, the procession was called on 5th June but the incident happened on June 3. That’s probably because the President, the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister were in Kanpur on the 3rd of June.
Uttar Pradesh MLC and BJP leader Mohsin Raza claimed that “the violence in Kanpur was a pre-planned conspiracy that was enacted when Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were in the district.”
What happened on the 3rd of June was already planned and probably a toolkit was created to carry out the riots against a particular community.
Islamists’ “Protest Formula”
Islamists have a tendency to overshadow any big development that is in the interest of the nation. This is exactly the reason they chose 3 June for shattering the peace in the city. Notably, the Prime Minister along with the President were visiting the city on that particular day.
Similarly, Donald Trump’s visit to Delhi was also overshadowed by deadly protests that forced India’s capital to witness the riots between Muslims and Hindus like never before.
Speaking at a press conference in Delhi before leaving India, Trump said “he had not brought up the violence with prime minister Narendra Modi,” saying he would not comment on “individual cases”. However, the president said that he was satisfied that Modi worked “really hard” on religious freedom.
“I had very powerful answer from PM Modi,” said Trump. “He told me that they are working very closely with minorities in India … PM Modi said that there are 200 million Muslims in India, and that his government is working closely with the minorities.”
These are the Islamists for you. They can stoop to any level to overshadow the big achievements of the nation and further their own agendas.
