Anuja Sathe began her career as a theatrical performer, appearing in a number of well-known Marathi productions, including Shobha Yatra and Uttar Ratra. She subsequently moved on to Marathi television, then mainstream Marathi movies, and finally Bollywood.
She starred as Dhara in the Star Plus channel’s primetime serial opera Tamanna, which was her debut Hindi television show.
