In politics, never be surprised by hypocrisy, it is part and parcel of the same. People who say something will speak the opposite of the same the very next moment, should opportunity demand so. The same reflected in the recent stance of Raza Academy and Aam Aadmi Party, who came out in support of the Kashmiri Hindus, who are at the centre of targeted killings in Kashmir Valley these days.
Yes, you just read that right. The very forces that left no stone unturned in justifying the genocide against Kashmiri Hindus, even backing it if necessary, are now coming out against the recent spate of targeted killings of Hindus in Kashmir Valley. The very Arvind Kejriwal, who had mocked and made fun of Kashmiri Hindus openly in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, in an attempt to protest against ‘The Kashmir Files’, was seen protesting against the Central Government for inaction against the killers of Kashmiri Hindus at Jantar Mantar today.
To quote an excerpt from his rally, “Whenever there is a murder in Kashmir, it comes in the media that the home minister (Amit Shah) has called a meeting. Too many meetings have been held but people are dying. Now, the country and its citizens want action. The Kashmiri Pandits want action. What is the action plan for the Kashmir valley?”
Kejriwal said that the Pandits are being forced to move out of Jammu and Kashmir as government employees, teachers, police and army personnel are getting killed by insurgents in a repeat of what happened in 1990, alluding to the killings and mass exodus that happened more than three decades ago. Funnily enough, Kejriwal is the same guy, who left no stone unturned into ensuring that the Kashmiri Hindus get no concessions in his own territory, for which the latter called him out time and again.

However, Kejriwal is not the only guy who is trying to milk the opportunity to his advantage. Rabid Islamist organization Raza Academy, well notorious for their vitriolic speeches and their campaigns in the name of their religion, has come out in the support of Kashmiri Hindus as well.
“Take action against those who are doing these atrocities. We stand by Kashmiri pandits,” ANI quoted the Raza Academy president as saying.
In the photographs of the demonstration shared by the official Twitter handle of Raza Academy, protesters can be seen holding placards in Hindi, English and Urdu that read ‘Stop attacks on Kashmiri Pandits’.
Interestingly, this is the same Raza Academy that had left no stone unturned in creating mayhem throughout Mumbai in 2012 over alleged insult of Prophet Muhammad. They repeated the same tactics when French President Emmanuel Macron ordered punitive measures against radical Islamists after the beheading of Samuel Paty, a school teacher brutally murdered on false allegations of showing cartoons of Prophet Muhammad. As such, when such people accuse the Centre of not doing enough to save the Kashmiri Hindus, it is funny rather than serious, because it is the classic case of the ‘pot calling the kettle black’.
