Laal Singh Chaddha: It took Aamir Khan 14 years for Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V

Few things that define the present day scenario of Bollywood are ungrounded movies filled with woke and anti-Hindu agenda, villain glorification, content-less star-driven films and remakes. With these, Bollywood has shunned any scope for creativity, fresh ideas, and risk taking new initiatives. To save the ruining careers of demi-God actors, they only resorts to remakes and this seems to be vindicated by the new trailer of Aamir Khan starrer movie Laal Singh Chaddha. Let’s analyse what the audience can expect from this movie considering the controversial past track record of Aamir Khan.

Laal Singh Chaddha trailer Launch

After a long dilly-dally, the trailer of Aamir Khan starrer movie Laal Singh Chaddha was finally launched yesterday, 29th May. The film team tried to utilise the cricket craze for its benefit and launched the trailer during the Final match of IPL. The film is currently scheduled to release on 11th August only if all goes Aamir Khan’s way. Earlier, due to the fear of south movies and other content driven movies it has been delayed many times, so further delay will surprise us anymore.

The Laal Singh Chaddha movie trailer shows a journey of a differently abled boy and perspective of life through his lense. While Mona Singh looks good in the role of Laal’s mother, Kareena Kapoor finds a good part in the trailer. The new kid seems promising in the role of young Laal Singh Chaddha. The fresh face and heart-throb of many, Naga Chaitanya may be a surprise element in the movie. The trailer of Laal Singh Chaddha also depicts scenes from the military and war front.

Laal Singh Chaddha: Will it follow the core ideology of the original movie Forrest Gump?

Let’s set the record straight, Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of Oscar-winning movie Forrest Gump. Just for a brief reminder Forrest Gump was released 28 years ago on July 6th, 1994. The core story of Forrest Gump revolved around a dim-wit simpleton and how he successfully traversed through life. The movie was based on conservative values in which the main protagonist, Forrest Gump played by legendary actor Tom Hanks was a God-fearing family man, with conservative family background and a war hero who didn’t paid heed to counterculture prevailing back then in America which resembles today’s ‘Cancel Culture’.

He fell in love with a girl named Jenny who was liberal in her thought process. But, She later dumped Forrest Gump, became a drug addict and joined anti-war movements. In 2009, the National Review ranked it No.4 on the 25 best conservative films of the past 25 years.

What to expect from Laal Singh Chaddha taking star cast into consideration?

Now let’s talk about the elephant in the room, that is, the Aamir Khan starrer Lal Singh Chaddha. The main talking point about the movie is its star cast. We will talk about Aamir Khan, the tainted man, later in this article. The key thing about the other star cast is that it includes Kareena Kapoor who only reeks arrogance. She once blamed the audience during the nepotism debate and arrogantly said,”Aap jaa re ho na film dekhne? Mat jao. Nobody has forced you.”

Further, the writer of the movie is Atul Kulkarni. A glance at his twitter handle shows where his allegiances lie and hints that the movie may be nothing but a mess full of left-liberal agendas. Similarly, the director, Advait Chandan glorified the life behind Hijab in his movie Secret Superstar. Additionally, the movie has again stereotypically used a Sardar to portray a dim-witted protagonist. It is an open secret why he didn’t pick his own religion as this would have invited the wrath of Islamists and his head might have been on a spike in no time. So, don’t be surprised if the dim-witted simpleton in the Aamir Khan starrer movie subtly criticises or lectures the Hindu community or the current ruling government.

The Perfectionist Or Propaganda King (PK)

It is funny that the so-called Perfectionist, that is, Aamir Khan had to spend a megre 14 years to come up with a remake. This reflects that it must have been hard for him to alter the stellar movie so as to fit in his agenda. Although, he has garnered praises and accolades from every nook and cranny of India but the love showered on him has not been able to make him shun his propaganda. He has made several avoidable controversies. At the time when the country had strained relations with Turkey, he was having a meeting with the first lady of Turkey.

Aamir Khan’s Turkey move was not out of the blue moon but a shuttle messaging to his support base. He had been successful at other times as well, to subtly pass on his political agenda. He was quite aware of the fan base he enjoyed and deliberately tried to fan the anti-Modi feelings and pass on the guilty judgement on him for the 2002 Gujarat Communal riots. Further, he glorified terrorism through his movie Fanna and made a mockery of Hindu Religion and Culture in the infamous movie PK.

The demi-God of cinema should not forget that time is a great leveller. Khan with his incogent, boorish, muddled and unimaginative ideas has set out on a crusade to churn out a vendetta driven movie and we as an audience cannot wait to give it a cold shoulder. So. this 14 years advertisement gimmick is only gonna boomerang at PK (Propaganda King) Aamir Khan.
