In a country with IITian CMs, a saffron-clad Yogi is leading the digital revolution of India’s legislature

In today’s marketing era, people tend to believe whatever they are fed by print and television (multimedia screens) media. With the help of marketing, even a failed brand can be projected as a shining example in that particular field. This is the power of marketing and it can be seen hijacking Delhi. The exaggerated Delhi model is the product of a hefty marketing scheme. On the contrary, the Yogi Administration believes in letting their actions speak for them. It is silently and rapidly ticking all the boxes of development. Now, to promote a tech-savvy culture and paperless administration, UP becomes the new state to have E-Vidhansabha.

Yogi’s Push for paperless, efficient and transparent Administration

After the advent of Yogi 2.0, the focus has been on increasing the transparency and efficiency of the administration. He has been tough on incompetent and corrupt officials. CM Yogi is also improving the quality of governance in the state and is taking several steps for the same. Thus, he has equipped the state assembly with modern mobile tablets and is promoting a paperless culture. The CM along with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla inaugurated the National E-Vidhansabha Application (NeVA) in the state. With this kind of progressive step, UP has become the second state to have E-Vidhansabha, with Nagaland as the other state to do so.

The UP CM made a tweet regarding this achievement. He thanked the Lok Sabha Speaker and congratulated everyone for achieving this feat. He tweeted, “Today, Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha Shri Om Birla ji launched the training program and e-Vidhan system for the newly elected members of the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Hearty congratulations to all and thanks to Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha!”

This E-Vidhansabha will provide a better synergy between several ministries, and the workings of the various departments will be quicker and much more efficient. Through the tablets, the MLAs will be able to ask their questions and get Ministers’ responses immediately with the proper upkeep of important documents. The members can secure the documents through a password or their fingerprints. This will also make the administration able to monitor the work of their MLAs effectively and promote a meritorious culture. Further, not just symbolism, the UP government has organised a two-day orientation and training program for its MLAs. After this training phase, the budget session will start. This will be the first budget of the Yogi Administration after coming back to power.

Lesser talked reformist steps and good works of Yogi Adityanath

Contrary to what leftist media projects Yogi Adityanath as, he is a reform-driven CM. His core belief is to empower the state through the proper use of technology. To promote digital education and e-learning, he equipped students with Smartphones and tablets. For this, the UP administration has started a campaign for the distribution of ‘1 crore’ gadgets to students within the state.

While the IITian CM can keep boasting about his imaginary Delhi model, the UP CM is turning the growth wheel of the state with new vigour. With his tremendous track record in law and order handling, the UP CM has become a role model to follow. With the inauguration, the CM has paved foundation for a new transparent working environment in the VidhanSabha and after its success; it will motivate more states to replicate it. The UP CM, time and again, has shown that reform can be brought only with actions on the ground, not with sweet talks or boosting through advertisements.
