Aryaman Birla is an Indian cricketer who was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on July 9, 1997. Cricket career

On November 25, 2017, he made his first-class debut for Madhya Pradesh in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy.

Aryaman Birla is currently assisting individuals with the #LetsTalk1on1 initiative (Mpower, in partnership with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Maharashtra government, has developed a toll-free 24-hour mental health helpline to assist individuals dealing with concerns that are at an all-time high owing to the lockdown) during the lockdown to bring some consolation to those who are finding it difficult to cope, based on his own experiences.

Aryaman’s break comes only two months after Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell announced his retirement from cricket due to mental health concerns. Many cricketers have spoken out about their problems since then, taking time away from the game to cope with their problems.

Nic Maddinson and Will Pucovski, both of Australia, have taken time off from international cricket to cope with mental health difficulties and have received support from Cricket Australia.

Education

In 2018, he was pursuing a commerce degree from the University of Mumbai via distance learning.
