Artist Manju Pillai was born on 12 May 1976 in Kottayam, Kerala, India. She is the granddaughter of Malayalam film actor S.P. Pillai.
Manju Pillai got initially married to actor Mukundan Menon and later got divorced. After her divorce, she again got married to cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev, who works in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies. They have a daughter Daya Sujith.
