Aindrita Ray is an Indian actress who is most known for her work in Kannada films. She made her acting debut in Meravanige in 2007 and went on to star in a number of commercially successful films, establishing herself as a notable contemporary Kannada actor. Career
Ray starred opposite newcomer Chiranjeevi Sarja in the action film Vaayuputra in 2009. Following that, he made a cameo appearance in Prashant Raj’s popular film Love Guru. However, her breakthrough came in the film Junglee, followed by the critically praised Manasaare, in which she played a mentally handicapped girl. Aindrita Ray was born into a Bengali family in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and spent her youth there before relocating to Mumbai. She and her family migrated from one location to the next until landing in Bangalore.
Ray attended Bangalore’s Baldwin Girls High School. She then went to Bangalore’s B. R. Ambedkar Dental College to earn a bachelor’s degree in dental science. She did part-time modeling while studying, appearing in television commercials, which helped her break into the film industry. She began acting in Kannada cinema and occasionally in amateur and short films.
