The MVA government decided to implement earlier court orders on the use of loudspeakers at religious sites, making it mandatory for religious sites to seek permission for using loudspeakers.

Reports came that the Maharashtra government will issue guidelines related to use of loudspeakers in public places within next one to two days. It was reported that Nashik Police has already issued an order making it mandatory to take permission for loudspeakers. Maharashtra DGP is said to be holding meetings with direct administrations to implement the order.

The step was widely appreciated and lauded for taking cognizance of the issue and issuing concerned directives, that will help the government control the law and order situation in the state.

Nashik Police Commissioner exposes Thackeray’s anti-Hindu agenda

In the aftermath of the announcement, the media personnel ran to the high rankers of the Police force to confirm the guidelines related to the issue.

Deepak Pandey, Commissioner of Police, Nashik has in a very controversial statement said that permission has to be taken for playing Hanuman Chalisa or Bhajan on loudspeakers. Also, in order to maintain law and order, the Nashik Police has prohibited playing of Hanuman Chalisa and Azaan within 100 meters of Masjids. After this was reported by the ANI, the Uddhav government is at the receiving end of backlash for running their anti-Hindu agenda running in the name of maintaining law and order.

With these anti-Hindu regulations, the Nashik Police is curbing the ‘fundamental rights’ of the Hindu community. To put it in simple words they are clearly barring the Hindus from their right to freely profess, practice and propagate their religion which is guaranteed to every citizen of this country by the Constitution of India.

Uddhav Thackeray needs to be reminded of Shiv Sena’s legacy

Shiv Sena was founded on the issues surrounding the politics of Maratha Manus i.e. son of the soil politics. Bal Thackeray gained a pan-India appeal through his firebrand Hindutva. Shiv Sena derives its name from ‘Shivaji ki Sena’. BalaSaheb also prioritised Hindutva, and the stand of BalaSaheb on the demolition of Babri Masjid is known to all.

Uddhav Thackeray currently leading BalaSaheb’s Shiv Sena and it seems that it has forgotten why and how Bala Saheb founded Shiv Sena. Uddhav Thackeray has sat in the lap of ‘secular’ Congress party and has probably forgotten his legacy of firebrand ‘Hindutva’ and he needs to be reminded of the same.
