Priyank Kanoongo, the illustrious NCPCR chairman has begun dismantling Aam Aadmi Party’s fake education model

Kejriwal’s lies have been exposed by National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR). When a team led by NCPCR chairman Priyank Kanoongo visited Delhi government schools, they found that most of the school headmaster’s posts were vacant.

Numbers Never Lie

NCPCR in its field survey found that out of 1027 government schools in Delhi only 203 schools have a headmaster or principal. The 824 posts for the headmaster were vacant in the government. The commission further revealed many other discrepancies in infrastructure were also found during the visit.

In its Budget 2022-23, 23.5% of its total expenditure was allocated to education. The net expenditure of the Delhi government is ₹71085 crores, out of which ₹15507 crores has been given in the name of education.

By reading the 23.5% of budget share it can be predicted that the Delhi government spends about one-fourth of its budget on education. But there is a catch, out of the total budget allocated for education only ₹3485 crores go towards government primary schools. The rest of the budget allocated for the education sector is spent on sports, Arts and Culture. It means only 4.90% of the total Delhi budget is spent on Primary Education.

AAP’s failed Model

AAP has failed to give an efficient governance model to Delhi. Their policies do not match with the financial, economic, social or geographical conditions of the UT. Most of the budget is spent on freebies and on policing the Kejriwal image. Fake promises of the establishment of new colleges and schools. Its failed Mohalla clinic was closed down in Covid times, not a single patient was treated in the clinic. Buses are in bad condition, roads are not being maintained, and the freebees of Kejriwal have left the state of Infrastructure in a very bad situation.

Furthermore, In 2020-21 Actual Capital Outlay was ₹4699 crore of net Expenditure of ₹49203 crores. Only 9.55% of the total expenditure was spent on the creation of assets, and ₹40414 of ₹49203 was the revenue expenditure.
