Biden’s guns handed to Kashmiri terrorists by Pakistani army

As it is said, ‘Value is subjective by every measure, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’. Biden’s trash guns are now being used by the Pakistani army to foster terrorism in Kashmir.

High-end devices being used by Kashmiri terrorists

According to a report by The Tribune, terror groups operating in Jammu and Kashmir are now using America made gadgets and guns. Interestingly, America is not a direct supplier of these arms. Instead, the weapons used by these terrorists are being transported to them by their Pakistan based counterparts. Apparently, the Pakistani bosses of Kashmiri terrorists have been availing these weapons from Afghanistan. The US had left its military equipment worth more than $85 billion in Afghanistan.

Officials of the Jammu and Kashmir security grid have said that they have detected signals of Iridium satellite phones and Wi-Fi-enabled thermal imaging devices used during the Afghan war by the US forces. Officials further said that these terrorists have been using these devices to evade security checks during night time. The signals have been received in both north as well as South Kashmir.

Officials informed that some of these signals have also been found at encounter sites. The information about these signals have been provided by the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO), an agency operating under NSA Ajit Doval and the Defence Intelligence Agency, a coordinating intelligence unit under the Ministry of Defence.

American weapons being sold in Pakistani market

Ever since the Taliban established itself at the helm of affairs in Kabul, the Biden administration’s haphazard withdrawal has only exacerbated the burden on Afghanistan’s neighbours, including Pakistan. Weapons worth $85 billion soon found their way to Pakistan’s black market.

In October last year, TFI reported that a huge amount of modern weapons (worth billions of dollars) left by the American military in Afghanistan have been tunnelled into Pakistan’s gun market. The shopkeepers selling these high ended weapons had branded them as “Ameriki Fauj Ka Maal-e-Ganimat” (unsolicited gift from the army of the USA). These gun markets are mainly concentrated in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Gujranwala.

The Pakistan administration bought these weapons

Meanwhile, soon the Pakistani administration also woke up. Though, Taliban’s rise owed mainly to Pakistan, the Imran Khan administration knew that it was feeding a Frankenstein monster. Pakistan feared that the Taliban would actively support Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) through American arms and ammunition in its secessionist movement. TTP wants to form a separate nation by taking away Pashtun dominated areas of Pakistan.

This is the reason why Pakistan itself decided to take control of US-made weapons in Afghanistan. In November, 2021, ANI reported that the Pakistani administration was buying weapons from the Taliban. Most of these weapons were small arms and it was speculated that the Pakistani army would be using these weapons only inside Pakistan.

Indian Army confirmed the presence of US-made weapons

However, terror incidents inside the Kashmir valley do not vindicate this claim. In January 2022, terror groups covertly running their anti-India activities in Kashmir valley released a video, the remarkable aspect of this video was that the rifles and pistols used by the terrorists were made in America. They were seen brandishing M249 automatic rifles, 509 tactical guns, M1911 pistols and M4 carbine rifles, which are understood to be direct imports from Afghanistan. Earlier, six terrorists killed by Indian army in Kashmir were also found in possession of US-made M4 carbine rifles.

The presence of US-made high tech gadgets and weapons in Kashmir was confirmed in February this year by Major General Ajay Chandpuria, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 19 Infantry Division. In an interview with The Print, he informed the nation about the state of affairs in Kashmir. Talking about the kind of weapons possessed by the neutralised terrorists, Major Chandpuria said, “Interestingly, from the weapon and equipment which were recovered, we realised that there was a lot of spillover of hi-tech weapons, night-vision devices and equipment, which were left over by the Americans in Afghanistan, now finding their way towards this side,”

The Biden administration’s unplanned withdrawal from Afghanistan has done damage to every concerned individual. It’s a shame that a country which boasts of being a superpower left a war-torn country like Afghanistan in such a way. The tremors of this idiocy will be suffered by generations.
