Aam Aadmi Party has won the state of Punjab with 92 seats out of 117 assembly seats in the state. The party managed to sweep the state despite no strong campaigns and strategies. But, the question arises, how? Well, the corrupt ones wanted a government like AAP and a sizable population of Punjab is a Khalistani sympathizer. The two factors led AAP to grab a huge vote share in the state.
Digging deep into the arithmetic and strategies behind vote cast for AAP, one could easily notice a message and mind you, the hidden message has a lot to say.
AAP won, Akali Dal left empty-handed
As far as Punjab is concerned, Akali Dal was believed to be a prominent party in the 2022 elections besides AAP. The Aam Aadmi Party lured the people with freebies like Rs 1000 per month to women, better infrastructure, free power units. The strategy helped them gain a huge vote share and people abandoned Akali Dal.
Khalistan- an X factor for AAP
Aam Aadmi Party has been hobnobbing with Khalistanis since 2017. Kejriwal led party has used the Khalistani angle as a foundational stone in Punjab over which the party has won the state. A sizable population of Punjab is a Khalistani sympathizer and thus they have voted for AAP.
There have been certain reports suggesting strong connections between Kejriwal and Khalistan. Moreover, it is Kejriwal who has revived Khalistan to save his sinking future in Punjab.
It was the Kejriwal led government in Delhi that had welcomed the ‘protest’ of so-called farmers in Delhi many of whom are believed to be connected with the Khalistani group. Meanwhile, Kejriwal had expressed his wish to become Prime Minister of Khalistan.
The hidden message
What does it mean for Punjab? Well, it means that the Khalistani issue is real. The liberals who were hell-bent on setting a narrative that the Khalistani issue is nothing have been proven wrong. The landslide of victory of Punjab has now made it evident that Khalistani sympathizers have become a threat to national security.
With his victory, the Khalistani elements will rise to power and the attempts to divide India will be done. Earlier, there had been enormous bloodshed due to the Khalistani separatists. Just when it returned to normalcy, Kejriwal fuelled the Khalistani movement and has pushed Punjab into the well of chaos and anarchy.
Ironically, the vote share that AAP has encashed makes it quite evident that the Khalistani issue is a real thing and the people of Punjab need to worry over national security.
