Imran Khan’s most rhetoric words “Ummah” and “Nuclear” boogie have been punctured by Modi. Time and time again India has thrashed Pakistan in its own Muslim brotherhood Nexus i.e. Ummah. Communal OIC gives useless sermons few times on Pakistan’s behest but keeps on strengthening Economic Ties with India.
Current Game Play and Checkmate by India
Pakistan is hosting the 48th session of OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Islamabad on 22 to 23 March, 2022. The agenda for the meeting is ‘Islamophobia’, Afghanistan, Palestine and Kashmir, according to the Pakistan’s ambassador to Turkey, reported in Turkish news. Pakistan is leaving no stone unturned make it into an Anti-India centric meet. The Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Omar Farooq, involved in terrorism against India, has been invited in the meeting which has been condemned by India in the harshest of terms.
The meet is doomed to fail before it even begins. The opposition and people of Pakistan can no longer see incompetent and arrogant Imran Khan as the Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. A No-Confidence Motion is on the table; Imran’s friendly Speaker is delaying the laying of motion, which has high chances of success, as even Khan’s party members are against him. The opposition is threatening to disrupt the OIC meet if the No-Confidence motion is not tabled before the meet.
Imran Khan Niazi is not only failing on the internal front but he is also failing to rally every member of OIC to come to this Anti-India meet. The Foreign Ministers of many OIC member nations are going to skip the meet or take a balanced line to not sour ties with a global power, India.The Foreign Ministers of Indonesia (countries with the largest number of Muslims) and Morocco are unwilling and may not attend the meet. India’s oldest Gulf partner Oman will send diplomats to the meeting and to rub salt on Pakistan’s wound – Oman’s Foreign Minister will visit India between 23-24 March, giving a clear sign of dumping Pakistan. Egypt and many other nations, attending the meet will take a Pro-India stand which will completely demolish the motive of the meeting.
Previous beatings in OIC
Sushma Swaraj, the then Minister of External Affairs of India was invited as the “Guest of Honor” by OIC against the hue and cry of Pakistan. This was India’s maiden appearance at OIC, 50 years after being disinvited from OIC meet in Rabat, Morocco held in 1969 on Pakistan’s behest. This was a clear victory for India in Pakistan’s Ummah game.

After Taliban took full control over Afghanistan, Pakistan lobbied to ‘Recognize’ the Taliban led Afghan government and led an OIC meet for it. But it failed miserably as five Muslim majority Central Asian Nations, members of OIC, not only skipped Pakistan’s meet but to add insult to injury, they joined Delhi-led India-Central Asia Dialogue on Afghanistan during the same time frame.

Outside OIC
India has not only beaten Pakistan in OIC meetings but also the relationships of many OIC member nations are solidifying with India. UAE is investing in Kashmir against Pakistan’s outrage. It has also entered into a Quad Group with India, Israel and USA as other member nations in it, to boost trade, economy and peer to peer relations. UAE is just one case of many other evolving India’s relationship with the Gulf and other OIC member nations.

This all is not happening on its own. Indian diplomacy is playing a silent and effective role behind closed doors, combined with our growing economic might. By this India has time and time again comprehensively beaten Pakistan in its own playground “THE UMMAH”.
