Advertising career
Amrita began her job in advertising when she was four years old. Her debut television commercial was for a Kerala-based footwear firm.After then, she appeared in over 50 advertisements for well-known brands such as Rasna, Ruffles Lays, Glucon-D, Dabur, and others throughout her childhood. For more than two years, she was the face of Lifebuoy Soaps packaging. She has recently appeared in advertisements for Sunsilk, Gitts Processed Foods, and other brands.

Career Biography of Amrita Prakash
Her first appearance on television was when she was nine years old, in a drama series in which she portrayed Gautami Gadgil’s niece. Following that, she landed her own show when she was seen hosting Fox Kids, a cartoon show on Star Plus for approximately 5 years, making her persona of Miss India extremely popular, particularly among children.
In 2001, she made her film debut in Anubhav Sinha’s Tum Bin, in which she played Milli, a significant role. Amrita continued to watch television after Tum Bin. She was picked at the age of 14 to be a part of India’s first reality show, Kya Masti Kya Dhoom, which she co-anchored for two years with Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre.

Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai for Zee TV was her most recent television drama in which she played one of the main characters.
In 2004, she starred in Kamal’s Malayalam film Manjupoloru Penkutty. The plot revolved around a 16-year-old schoolgirl in Kerala who was abused by her sexually abusive stepfather and rose up against him. In Kannada and Telugu, the film was dubbed and re-released.
The State nominated Amrita for the National Award for Best Actress.

Amrita Prakash Short Biography
Amrita Prakash went on to play the character of Chhoti in Sooraj Barjatya’s Vivah, which became one of her most memorable roles.
The critical response to her performance in Vivaah was overwhelmingly positive. Amrita has been reported as saying a number of times: “Vivaah was one of the most significant turning points in my career. I’ll never be able to thank him (Sooraj Barjatya) enough for being my instructor and mentor throughout and after the film. And for putting me on the map of every Indian city.”
