“Do you have space there, I want to move to India”, Celebrated Canadian Author asks PM Modi

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who is today scared of Trucker’s Protest, is the same man who promised to stand by ‘right to peaceful protests’ during Farmers Protests in India.

Canadian PM Trudeau invoked Emergency in Canada, for the first time in Canadian history in the wake of Trucker’s Protest. In this row, famous Canadian author Gad Saad asked PM Modi for a room to settle in India.

Trudeau can’t deal with ‘Peaceful Protests’

Canada’s roads and bridges have been clogged for more than a month due to widespread protests. The protesters have blocked the major trade routes between US and Canada demanding a relaxation in the Covid Restrictions. The protesters have been demanding Trudeau’s resignation.

To hide his failure in controlling the protests, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act and called the protest ‘illegal’. The enactment of Emergency will give the Federal Police immense power to deal with the protests, said Trudeau including means as towing. Canadian Government had also halted the fund collection by the protesting groups.

Justin Trudeau follows Indira Gandhi’s Footsteps

India witnessed a yearlong blockade at the borders of Delhi in the name of the Farmers Protest. And one of the vocal Anti-India voices upsurged was from Canada. Canadian Prime Minister chose to make ‘ill-informed’ comments on the internal matters of the biggest democracy in the world.

Now, the Canadian PM has hit the nail on his head. Justin Trudeau who was once preaching to India about the ‘right to peaceful protest’, has today enacted Emergency in the wake of Trucker’s Protest.

As Trudeau decided to walk in Indira Gandhi’s footsteps, he faced backlash from all over the world, including residents of Canada. Trudeau is being mentioned as a ‘dictator’. This is the reason why attempts to migrate from Canada has picked up a toll. One such name is of Author Gad Saad.

Canadian Author Gad Saad, asks PM Modi for accommodation

Canadian Author Gad Saad famous for his book The Parasitic Mind, has requested PM Narendra Modi for accommodation. The Canadian author mentioned the Federal Government as a ‘Dictator’ and said that he wants to escape the dictatorship.

Saad wrote in his tweet, “Dear @narendramodi, we’re looking to leave Canada to escape the dictatorship. Any room for us in India?”. Author Saad tweeted this on February 15, 2022, a day after Trudeau invoked Emergency.

Saad posted this tweet in response to PM Modi’s tweet, where PM had paid tribute to Saint Ravidas on the eve of his birth anniversary.

The same day, Saad also tweeted to the United States of America where he shared his plight and requested to take him in.  Saad wrote in his tweet, “Dear United States: I once had to flee Lebanon to start a new life in Canada. Now I need to flee Canada to start a new life in the United States. Will you take us in? We can come in from the Southern border illegally if you prefer. Please advise”. In his series of tweets, Saad also alleged that PM Trudeau does not want people like him to stay in the Federal state.

Gad Saad: A man who received PM Modi’s letter

Gad Saad is the same author who received a letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of the 73^rd Republic Day of India. In the letter, PM extended gratitude on the occasion of India’s Republic Day and also invited Saad for interaction. In the letter, PM Modi called author Gad Saad, “a friend of India”.

Gad with his tweet asking for accommodation in India has given out a message to the World, especially the West elaborating how India is a destination for the aggrieved. Every nation has problems and clashes, but no nation should imply Emergency to hide the Supreme leader’s shortcomings.

India, the biggest democracy in the world does not need preaching from a nation, whose Prime Minister invokes Emergency when he falls short in dealing with a protest.
