Sujat Ambedkar: Grandson of Ambedkar denies reservation

Sujat Prakash Ambedkar is an Indian activist, journalist, and politician who was born on January 15, 1995. He is the grandson of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and the son of Prakash Ambedkar. Sujat is the leader of the Samyak Vidyarthi Andolan and the youth leader of the underprivileged Bahujan Aghadi political party. They also play the drums. He is also in charge of a network of young activists from the state’s disadvantaged Bahujan Aghadi. He was a member of a rock band in college and is a well-known drummer in the Pune music circuit.

In the year 1995, Sujat Ambedkar was born. Ambedkar’s grandson is Dr. Sujat Babasaheb. Prakash Ambedkar is his father, and Anjali Ambedkar is his mother. Sujat is her mother and father’s sole kid. They’re Buddhists, by the way. Sujat Ambedkar is the family’s fourth generation member.

Education and experience

Sujat Ambedkar graduated from Fergusson College in Pune with a degree in Political Science. In 2016-18, he earned a Diploma in Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai. Kanhaiya Kumar, a JNU student leader, was accused by college principals of uttering anti-national slogans at a Ferguson College gathering by Sujat and his supporters. It received a lot of flak. The charge sheet was then withdrawn by the college. Sujat Ambedkar initially rose to prominence at that time.

For two years, Sujat Ambedkar worked as a freelance journalist for two national publications and websites. They’re also amazing drummers. They plan to form a band that will make political comments through music in the future.

Political Career of Sujat Ambedkar

Sujat Ambedkar is a political activist, but he has not participated in active politics. “I will enter politics if the people want it. But, until then, I will always be with the people and the movement to assist them, to question the authorities, and to challenge the authorities” he stated. He is not a member of the beleaguered Bahujan Alliance.

Sujat is in charge of arranging office meetings, administering social media, and keeping Ambedkarites, Muslims, and other Bahujan youth together throughout the election time. Dr. Anjali Ambedkar, Sujat’s mother, is also campaigning for party candidates.

Sujat Ambedkar addressed a public meeting for the first time on May 27, 2018 at Azad Maidan. His remarks drew a positive response from the audience. The fourth generation of the Ambedkar family joined the social realm on the occasion of the Elgar March. In the Elgar March, Sujat gave a two-minute address.

“Take two things from the year,” Sujat remarked in it. One is the Koregaon Bhima (violence) and the other is the Tata Institute’s closure of scholarships. Sambhaji Bhide and Milind Ekbote were both arrested for the same crime. He did as well. We presented all of the evidence. Despite the fact that Bhide has been missing for two months and 26 days, he claims that his arrest is being purposely avoided. ‘ In this state, justice is not distributed equally.

His thoughts on Reservation

Sujat Ambedkar believes that in politics, reservation (political reservation) is unnecessary. Sujat, on the other hand, believes that individuals in the SC-ST community who are financially well should come forward and support others who are still disenfranchised. “In India, reservation should be based on caste rather than economics,” Sujat remarked.
