Career of Ryan Burl
He made his international ODI debut for Zimbabwe against Afghanistan on 16 February 2017 at Harare Sports Club. In February 2017, Burr was recruited to the Zimbabwe academic cricket team to tour England that same year.
A left-wing centre-forward and sometimes a military veteran, Burl broke into Zimbabwe in 2017, having previously played for the BPL and the Afghan cricket league Shpageeza. Burl, 27, has participated in two trials, 18 ODIs and 25 T20Is since his international debut in 2017.
So far, the mid-level forward has amassed a total of 660 points across all formats. Burl is a talented athlete, in addition to cricket, he has represented Zimbabwe’s youth teams in ice hockey, squash and athletics. Burl made his debut in 2017 and has since represented Zimbabwe in two Tests and 18 ODIs.

In July 2019, the International Cricket Council (ICC) suspended Zimbabwe and banned the country from qualifying for the T20 World Cup that same year.

Burl, who had two and a half centuries in five innings, was the tournament’s second leading scorer with 138 points. Burl played his last game on 25 April 2021 in the third T20I between Zimbabwe and Pakistan.
The two countries played a three-game T20I streak and a two-day test streak. The African nation did not qualify for the 2017 European Champions Cup and 2019 World Cup, which were held in England.
