PM Modi’s ‘Modigiri’ forced Khalistani extremists to come out and show their true colors

PM Modi, dadagiri, Khalistani

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced December 26 as a date to celebrate the brave children of India. Starting this year, the whole nation will be celebrating ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ on the very next day of Christmas, a Christian festival. However, the left cabal, along with Khalistani extremists, seems to be crying their noses off as PM Modi has hammered their hate propaganda with this decision.

SAD and SGPC against the decision

Soon after PM Modi stepped with a decision to observe the martyrdom day of Chhote Saahibzaade, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), a former ally of BJP, began showing their true colours. Bereft of any claims to counter Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decision, SAD spokesperson Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said, “We appreciate PM’s move to honour the sacrifice of Chhote Saahibzaade but the name of the day should be decided after consultation with the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) to do justice with the history behind this unparalleled sacrifice in Sikhism. The Sikh religious literature and Gurbani should be consulted to name this day.”

SGPC member Kiranjot Kaur also opposed the GoI and tweeted, “I strongly oppose naming Shaheedi Diwas of Sahibzade Veer Bal Diwas. Babas are being reduced to children. Govt has no business reinterpreting our beliefs in a reductionist way.”

SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami also expressed his resentment over the same. He stated, “Their martyrdom day cannot be called ‘Baal Veer Diwas’ as it is not according to the Gurmat (Sikh principles). Sahibzades have a tall stature in the Sikh religion. This term is not appropriate for martyrs. The PM may have taken this decision in haste, without consulting the Sikhs.”

PM Modi’s ‘Modigiri’

PM Modi made this announcement while congratulating the whole nation for the Prakash Parv of Guru Govind Singh Ji, that is, on the 9th of January. The day is remembered for the tremendous courage shown by the four sons of Guru Govind Singh Ji.

Explaining his rationale behind the celebration, he said, “Veer Baal Diwas will be on the same day SahibzadaZorawar Singh Ji and SahibzadaFateh Singh Ji attained martyrdom after being sealed alive in a wall. These two greats preferred death instead of deviating from the noble principles of Dharma,”

This is PM Modi for you. While these Khalistani elements continue to peddle their agenda, the nationalist Prime Minister is ensuring that the Sikh community receives all the love and respect.
