What did Kayla Green do there?

She edited an educational film short for Study Abroad Program. Edited video, audio, and photos into a 2 minute campaign video to raise money and awareness for a Brockport student diagnosed with cancer.

Shot a college promotional video by filming the letters that make up “Brockport” outside in nature and edited into a 1-minute short film.

Edited 10-15 minute videos to showcase the recipients for the Brockport Alumni and Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.

Shot B-roll of college life and campus which was used for various different “Why Brockport?” and Open House videos for prospective students.
After various experiences she joined WIVB/WNLO TV. Accompanied reporters on stories, live shots, and interviews in the field. Did photography, videography, wrote numerous stories and this was her first real life and practical exposure to electronic media and advanced newsroom.

Then did various short time internships with CNN Newsource, WHEC-TV 10 NBC, etc. She then joined WROC-TV Channel 8 as a reporter and multimedia journalist. She worked there for 2 years and six months. As a reporter she was involved in pitch, research, set up interviews, shoot, write, and broadcast original story ideas. In 2021 Kayla Green joined News for Buffalo as a reporter and multimedia journalist. News4Buffalo is a WIVB-TV affilation.
