Who is Urmila Matondkar
Urmila Matondkar is an Indian actress and politician who was born on February 4, 1974. She has won various awards, including the Filmfare Award and the Nandi Award, for her work in Hindi films, as well as Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, and Tamil films. She developed a distinct on-screen image through her film performances, which was defined by her aggressive manner and dancing abilities. She rose to prominence after playing alongside Jugal Hansraj in the blockbuster love drama Aa Gale Lag Ja in 1994.
Matondkar rose to fame overnight and was nominated for her first Filmfare award for Rangeela. Matondkar made her mark as a leading actress in contemporary Hindi cinema in 1995, when she starred in Ram Gopal Varma’s musical romance Rangeela, which was one of the year’s highest-grossing films.

Urmila Matondkar has been in a number of stage productions and televised award ceremonies in addition to her acting career. She contributed her voice to Asha Bhonsle’s album Asha and Friends Vol 1 in 2007, performing a duet song with Bhonsle called “Mehbooba Dilruba.” Later that year, she joined Jeetendra and Shiamak Davar as talent judges for the second season of Sony Entertainment’s dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
She is widely popular in the Bollywood industry for her personality and acting. She has done numerous hindi and other regional language movies. Apart from that she has political influence from the congress party.
