Why She Left the Congress

As a politician nobody wants to run a political career with a party that has no good leadership. The Congress party is an old and semi-hierarchical party. Despite the fact that Rahul Gandhi apparently failed to provide good leadership, many young leaders from the party joined other parties.

We can mention about the close associate and childhood friend of Rahul Gandhi, who joined BJP after the 2019 elections, and Scindhia is now a minister in the Modi government. However, Pratima Coutinho justified her party switch showing her optimism in the new leadership and a developing ideology of Aam Aadmi Party. No doubt she has maturity in Indian politics and she is ambitious about her political career. Infact congress leadership in the state of Goa did not seem so embarrassed or shocked by her resignation.
