Who was Delhi’s ‘most wanted’ gangester Neetu Dabodia?

Neetu Dabodia was one of the most sought gangsters, who had eluded capture by tying up police officers and snatching their firearms. Neetu Dabodia was charged with murder, extortion, and kidnapping in over 50 incidents. He was wanted with a reward of one lakh Indian Rupees.

15 lakh ka namaskar Gang

Gangster Paras or Goldy and Neetu Dabodia became buddies and scared Delhi and Haryana business elites. Paras and Dabodia were well-known for their “15 lakh ka namaskar,” which required each businessman who met them to carry Rs 15 lakh in a black bag.

Paras and Goldy met in jail and later entered the business together. Paras escaped many times from the police but in one incident he chose to stay inside. Apprehended by the special cell in March 2013. After Neetu Dabodia was shot dead by the police in 2013 while he was trying to escape from the jail Paras is in jail.

Gangwar following Neetu’s encounter

A gang fight for domination over the city has begun between Dabodia’s competitor, Neeraj Bawana, and kidnapper Manoj Morkheri, a day after criminal Neetu Dabodia was killed in an encounter at Vasant Kunj. In the Outer district of Narela, there was a shooting.

Bawana is suspected of enlisting the support of the Mahaal gang, based in southwest Delhi, to carry out the attack. Despite the fact that both Bawana and Morkheri are in prison, they continue to operate through their assistants.

Bawana is a Bawana village resident in the Outer district who is also known as the extortion king and Morkheri is a Rohtak native who was implicated in two high-profile kidnapping cases, one in Vasant Kunj and the other in Rohini.

Neetu Dabodia encounter

In a 30-minute shootout near the Grand Hyatt in Vasant Kunj, a popular retail complex, Dabodia and two of his associates were encountered.

When police surrounded them they first tried to escape by ramming into the cops’ vehicles. Then started an open fire. The police started firing back on them. After a rigorous firing from both sides for almost 30 minutes, all three men were hit and died on the way to the hospital.
