Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja commonly known as his short name Ravindra Jadeja or Sir Jadeja. He is an Indian international cricketer. He was born on 6 December 1988 at Navagam Ghed, Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. He is an all-rounder player who is a left-handed batsman and left-arm orthodox spin bowler. He is also known by his nickname Rockstar, Jaddu and Sir Jadeja. In the year 2008 Ravindra Jadeja was vice-captain and Virat Kohli was captain of the Indian U-19 cricket team and under both India won the World Cup in Malaysia. On 8 February 2009 he made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka and in that match, he scored an unbeaten 60runs out off 77 balls.
On 13 December 2012 he made his Test debut almost after four years of debut in ODI against England at Nagpur stadium. He was the captain of the Chennai Super Kings for 2022 IPL season in the Indian Premier League. He represents Saurashtra in first-class cricket.
