At a time when Pakistan is incessantly trying to destabilise India, a restaurant in Gujarat tried to pander to pro-Pakistan elements. The restaurant wanted to celebrate ‘Pakistani cuisine’. First off, we’re not sure what ‘Pakistani cuisine’ really is, because as is known, food dishes in Pakistan are only an extension of North Indian cuisines. And moreover, Pakistan is no friend of India. So raining on their parade, members of the Bajrang Dal turned up as guests and sacked their whole pro-Pakistan agenda.
Bajrang Dal members derail ‘Pakistani food’ festival
A popular chain of restaurants called ‘Sugar N Spice’ organised a Pakistan food festival in the Surat district of the state. To advertise their festival, they put in banners across serviceable areas, including the Ring Road.
However, before it could get popular, Congress councilor Aslam Cyclewaala uploaded the details on his Facebook page. After this, it was only a matter of time before it went viral on social media.
The news spread like a wildfire. As soon as it came to the cognisance of a few Bajrang Dal activists in the city, they decided to protect their nation’s pride and pay a visit to these Pakistan loyalists.
Bajrang Dal members gathered outside the restaurant to protest against the food fest
Soon, the activists of Bajrang Dal gathered outside the restaurant and started to protest against the 10-day food festival. Slowly, they tore the posters lying on the ground. They also climbed up the roof and brought down the hoarding to burn it in front of the public.

The owner defends himself and refuses to call Pakistan as an enemy:
Owner Sandeep Dawer, however, tried his best to justify his actions. In what seemed to be a thought inspired by the secular lobby’s pro-Pakistani propaganda, Dawer said that Pakistani people are not our enemies, the Pakistani political setup is. He then proceeded to defend himself by claiming that no Pakistani chef was invited and food was prepared by the restaurant staff. He also informed that the Pakistani food festival has been replaced by a seafood festival. Dawer apprised that his restaurant was serving Mughlai cuisine by naming it Pakistani cuisine.
